Tiana was resting her head against Jon's chest, helping him study and she held his hand in hers. "Why do you always wear Cameron's old watch?" Jon asked curiously and Tiana glanced at him, before she looked at the watch around her left wrist.
"Cameron left it for me before he went to Bizarro World with his dad. I figured that I should wear it, especially since Mateo didn't want it." She said and Jon nodded slightly at the words. "Why?" Tiana wondered.
"I just noticed a lot more recently that whenever you're worried about something or stressed, you end up messing with it. You must really miss him, if you're that concerned with the watch." Jon noted and Tiana sighed.
"I miss him, Jon. He was a link to my brother, that I didn't know I needed until after Trevor died." Tiana shrugged. "It just makes me feel closer to both of them." She said as Jon nodded, before he was quickly getting up at the sound of Liliana talking.
Jon went upstairs to grab her, while Tiana was looking down at the watch and she was closing her eyes briefly.
"Maybe, because I was ashamed to admit that I developed feelings for my deceased boyfriend's sister!"
Cameron's voice echoed just very loudly inside of her head as Tiana stared down at the watch, hating herself for the fact that she still wanted him nearby.
A selfish feeling that she hated, it was his life to live and it was his choice. Even if it meant that he'd willingly walk away and never see her again.
"I can leave and no one would miss me..."
"I would miss you!"
Tiana remembered how angry she had been, how pissed off and upset. Remembering how she had been however briefly, determined to stay there with him. Whatever the cost, she had been willing to pay it.
Or at least, that was what she had told herself. She had told herself that she would stay with him but now, knowing what she had with Jon... Maybe she would have come to regret it, eventually.
"Cameron, I'm not scared of your heat vision. I can heal."
Tiana remembered how upset with herself she felt, when she realized what he was probably thinking.
"I'm not afraid of you, Cam. I just see your father sometimes, when I look at you and... I-I know that you aren't your father."
Tiana remembered how ashamed he looked about it, once he realized.
"Just, please... Stop talking."
Tiana knew that she shouldn't have pushed him that day, but she did. Tiana did push his buttons and eventually, the feelings had bubbled over.
Tiana was standing up and then, she was walking out of the house, suddenly feeling physically ill and then, she was leaning against the porch railing.
"Hey, Tiana." Clark said and he quickly walked out of the house and it caused her to jump. "Since you don't have many clothes to donate, I was thinking that maybe you should go through Cameron's stuff." Clark said and Tiana's eyes widened with alarm as she wondered how he knew.
Could Kryptonians read minds now, just almost like Mateo Cortez?
Tiana thought to herself in a panic and Clark's smile dropped off his face as he was looking at her. "What's wrong?" He asked as she sighed.
