Cameron dropped down into the "back yard" of the Kent family and he was looking at the Kents, before a familiar burst of lightning showed up behind him.
"Hey Kent family." Tiana said as the boys were charging down the steps and now, they were hugging her tightly. "Ow, ow! Ow, I'm still healing from that supersonic punch that I hit your dad with!" She said and now they were both quickly letting her go, before she was shaking her head.
Cameron was awkwardly watching the family at a distance, while they looked over at him. "You know, you're family too." His eyes widened at the words from Clark, who smiled at her.
"But, I guess that I just thought I wasn't family to you." Cameron murmured and Clark sighed, before he walked past them and he held out his hand to Cameron, who was glancing over at it. "W... What changed your mind?" He asked and Clark sighed.
"When I realized, that I was taught better. I was taught and raised better than to assume that the child, that any child is born immediately responsible, for the sins of their father." Clark stated and Cameron smiled swiftly at the words, before Cameron was now quickly shaking hands with him.
"While I appreciate the sentiment of your words, Kal-El, I need to find myself. Find out who I am now, without my father's influence and without his manipulations. Will you let me go?" Cameron questioned and Clark's smile was clear, before he nodded.
"And, I think that I already have another city in need across the country, already." He turned to look at Tiana, who was holding up her cellphone. "With my brother dead by your father's hand and me staying here to help with the clean-up of Smallville, Central City is undefended." She stated.
"Will you really, willingly allow me to take over the same city that your parents, you and your brother, once protected?" Tiana nodded quickly.
"Yes. Because somebody still has to." Tiana stated and Cameron was swiftly just looking down at the symbol on his chest. "You have got this, Cameron." She said and he nodded quickly, before he was closing his eyes and then, he was quickly flying away from the Kent home.
Tiana was laying down next to Jon and his arms were casually around her waist as she was smiling, before he was kissing the top of her head again. "You really... Tiana, you really scared me today." Jon murmured and then she looked up at him, before Tiana was sitting up and then, she was looking at him.
"I'm sorry, Jon." Tiana murmured and she was sitting up next to him, resting her back against the headboard along with him. "I didn't mean to scare you today Jon, but... I need to know that you understand, why I had to go." She said and then quickly, he was smiling sadly at the words and then he was brushing her hair out of her eyes.
"I understand why you had to go, Tiana. I really do understand, why you have to run and help everybody. But I don't want to always be the guy, who only just has to wait for you to come home." Jon whispered as her eyes were wide. "I can't protect you from these threats and it... I hate it." Jon murmured and she was leaning forward until their foreheads were touching again.
"Trust me, Jon. I will never, ever put you in that position. Please, you have to trust me."
"I do trust you, Tiana." Jon said quietly and now, his tears were beginning to slip down his cheeks. "But I also love you, Tiana Allen, and I can't... I hate this feeling, Tiana, like I can't protect you." He said and then, she was looking over at him.
"I will find something for you, Jon. I am going to promise you, I will find something to reassure you." She said softly and he was looking at her, before their lips connected again.
A knock came at the door and they were breaking apart, before Clark was opening the door and he was looking at them. "Is that the "I'm in some serious shit" face?" She asked and Clark sighed.
"No. It is my "you are already moving back into the barn effective immediately" face. I have already moved your stuff back into the loft, including the flash ring that you left on the table." Clark stated as she sighed. "Your nightmares are gone and it is high past time, that you have your own space again. Especially, since you two are dating now."
"Dad..." Jon began.
"He's right, Jon." Tiana stated and she was getting up, before she was silently looking over at Clark. "He's right." She said definitively, before she was disappearing out of the room in a flash of lightning.
It had already been over a month, since Tal-Rho's defeat and Tiana was getting back into a sort of rhythm.
Since she was still in charge of watching over the boys when they were at school, it was her job to try and find them after they were not anywhere in the auditorium that she could see after doing a full lap of it.
T: Jon, where the hell are you?
After not getting any response, she saw Clark and John Irons flying overhead and she was jumping into her suit, before she raced off after them.
"Uh... Well, sorry I'm late." She said as the two adults were looking at her. "I, uh... My mind was somewhere else, I'm sorry." Tiana admitted and Clark nodded, before she was quickly taking off. Tiana stopped in the barn and she scoffed, seeing Jon standing there. "I know that I'm not really seeing Jonathan fricking Kent standing in front of me and skipping school!" She snapped as then she wasn't thinking about the volume of her voice, which unfortunately, it was bringing Clark right down on top of them both as she groaned.
Jon was up in his room and then, she was knocking on the door. Jon glanced at her as she nodded. "I am sorry, Jon. I didn't mean to shout at you, I was just upset that you didn't let me know where you were." She mumbled and he was looking at her, before he walked into her arms and they hugged.
"I'm sorry, Tiana. I just really needed to get out of school, I couldn't stay for that... In the day, I couldn't stay with that assembly going on." Jon mumbled and she sighed at the words, before she gripped his hand and he was lacing their fingers together. "Please, just stay with me."
"I think that your dad might just disagree with that." She said and she turned to look at the doorway, where Clark was standing and she sighed. "I will go back to my barn, then." She said and he was looking at her now, before she disappeared.
