Tiana was zipping into the DOD and she was face-to-face with a bunch of unusually well-armed soldiers. "What's going on? Why did you call me back here?" She asked, with her voice vibrating to hide her identity, since she didn't recognize any of the soldiers anymore ever since Tal-Rho had killed most of the familiar ones.

"What is the superhero name do you go by now, Dart?" Tiana's eyes flashed with a sharp orange lightning underneath her mask and she turned around to look at the new commanding officer of the DOD, since General Lane had stepped back from active duty. Mitch Anderson, if she recalled and she was staring at him. "Or, is your name now your father's?" He asked and she was glaring at him, her eyes flashing brightly behind the mask.

"What does it matter?" Tiana's voice was harsh and she narrowed her eyes. "I have to get home now, if there's no emergency to be found. I have got places to be and things to do and people, who are not overly fond of me being late." She said coldly.

"Well, you're going to have to be a little late. Because we have more things to talk about." Before Tiana could dart away, since she was surprised by what he had said, a cold gun blasted her from behind and Tiana shouted in pain.

Tiana felt her body already slowing down, trying to trigger her healing and as she was attempting to get out of the way, she felt somebody clamping a collar around her neck and she looked down at her hand, which had been phasing with speed. But it stopped and she stared at it in horror.

"What have you done?" Tiana accused as her voice was back to normal, she wasn't able to change it by vibrating her vocal cords anymore. "What did you do to me?" She asked sharply and Mitch sighed.

"We have been trying to figure out, how to augment our soldiers. Your powers of speed, they could be the key." Mitch nodded and a few of them were dragging her back up to her feet as Tiana glared at him. "How did you gain them?"

"I was born this way." Tiana said, basically growling at him with anger in her voice and Mitch sighed.

"Sorry, but we don't believe you. Boys, take her to Sector Five." Mitch said and quickly now, Tiana was being wrestled down the hallways of the DOD. She reached for the ELT in her pocket, but she felt one of the soldiers snatching it away from her and she stamped down on one of their feet and one of them slapped her in response.

Tiana glared at him angrily, clenching her fists with an angry grunt of pain. But right now without her powers and also now, just with her hands cuffed behind her back, she couldn't do much to retaliate.

Tiana could feel the Kryptonite lingering in the air around her, after they were pushing her into the lab and she was quickly looking around. "What the hell do you want with me, why don't you try and experiment on a Kryptonian?!" She snapped and they were restraining her onto a table.

"Because, last I checked... You were a human first and you aren't completely invulnerable." Anderson noted and now, he was looking over at her ELT in his hand and he flicked it open. "So... This is what you used to call Superman? Allen?" He asked and she was glaring at him.

"Go to hell, Anderson." Tiana spat out sharply and then, she was looking over at one of the soldiers that approached her with a needle in his hand. "Hey, hey. What the hell is that?!" She demanded and then, he was looking down at her. Before the needle was inserted into her neck. "Hey!" She shouted and she felt whatever it was, the liquid was working almost immediately.

Tiana's eyes flickered, before she was slumping back against the table and her eyes closed. The sedative went to work faster than expected and Anderson sighed quickly.

"Get to work, boys. Try to find out as much as you can, before you have to give her, another dose." He said quickly, after they had restrained her and then, he was unlocking the collar around her neck and deactivated it.
