Tiana had been avoiding the Kents unless she was sure that Clark wasn't there, which was when she chose to go and see her daughter.
Tiana was picking up Liliana from her crib and Liliana looked at her with wide eyes as she sighed. "Hey there, sweetheart." She murmured and Liliana was already eating solid foods, which was basically unheard of for a kid her age.
Tiana's phone beeped and she lifted her eyebrows, before she pulled it out of her pocket and she was looking at it.
S.Cortez: Senior Kegger at the old fairgrounds, George Junior invited me over to it. Are you in?
TL.Allen: Who is going to watch my daughter? Especially if the boys are going since I'm assuming that, you messaged them first about it.
S.Cortez: You can leave Liliana w/Mateo. I'm sure that he would be happy to watch her, it isn't like she's walking already?
TL.Allen: Please, please don't jinx it. She is four and a half months old, she is talking in half-sentences and she is able to shock people with electricity powers. Please don't start talking about walking yet, then no one will be able to keep up with her.
S.Cortez: Wait, she can already talk? Then she definitely has to stay with Mateo, he can see how fast she's progressing. His mind is almost as fast as yours is.
TL.Allen: You are really not going to let this go now, are you?
The only response Sarah gave her was a simple smirking emoji, causing Tiana to just shake her head. "How do you feel about staying with your Uncle Mateo for a bit?" Tiana asked and Liliana cheered at the words. "All right, sweetheart. Hang on!" She said and Liliana squealed, before Tiana disappeared in a flash of lightning and left only the smell of ozone behind.
After promising to pay Mateo for the last few times of baby-sitting, Tiana was running back to the Kent House to grab something for Liliana that she had forgotten.
Until she spotted that Clark's bedroom door had been left open and she was shaking her head quickly. "Nope. Nope." She said as she walked past it, grabbing the stuff that she had forgotten for Liliana.
Until she cursed and pushed the door open wider anyways. On the desk, it was the first thing that she saw and it was the pieces of her shattered, half-melted watch.
Tiana walked over to it and she found that one piece of metal from it, the piece was still completely intact. Tiana was flipping it over and she was reading the words on the back, after she was cleaning the soot and dust off of it.
"Semper et semper, me paenitet"
"Forever and always, I'm sorry." Tiana murmured the rough English translation and she was looking up, when she heard footsteps and she saw that Clark was standing there. "Liliana is with Mateo." She said and before Clark could say anything, the metal piece was left on the desk and she disappeared.
Tiana was already silently standing with Sarah and Junior, drinking a lot as she was standing steady as usual.
Tiana glanced over to see that Jordan was walking over. "Is Jon here?" She asked and he hesitated. "Jordan." Tiana said warningly and Jordan sighed, pointing over to where Jon and Candice were.
"You're fritzing, again." Jordan warned her as Tiana was looking down at her hand briefly, which was sparking with electricity and she was cramming it into her pocket as she walked over to them.
