Tiana was sleeping with her head next to the crib, she was soundly out like a light as she was trying to keep her sleep patterns to match the baby's.
Despite it being the middle of the day, she was out and when Jon walked into the room now, he was trying to be as quiet as he could be.
Jon was sitting down next to Tiana and he was moving his arms around her, before she opened her eyes briefly and she looked up at him. "Hey." She murmured softly and he looked at her, smiling. "What time is it?"
"11am." He murmured and then, she was blinking at the words and she was getting up and trying not to wake the baby.
Tiana was walking out of the room and carefully, she rubbed her eyes. "She's only a few days old. But she's eating like crazy." She mumbled and Jon laughed, before he was clamping his hand over his mouth, to stifle it.
"There might be another speedster in the family now, maybe?" Jon questioned softly as she grinned at the words, before she was nodding.
"No matter who or what she turned out to be, she still is and now, she will always be our daughter." He said and briefly Tiana felt like crying, before she was giving him a hug.
Jon smiled at her, before he was swiftly returning it and she was disappearing into the barn to grab herself new clothes.
Tiana came back to a pair of arguing teenage boys and she groaned, when she heard Liliana starting to wail. Tiana was groaning quietly, before she was rushing into Jon's room and she was picking up the little girl. "Shh. It's okay, babygirl." Tiana murmured softly as she was carrying her around in vain hope, that she could settle her down again.
But with both Jon and Jordan arguing loudly, just in the next room over... It didn't look like that was going to be possible.
"This is mine!" Jordan screamed.
"Dude, just let me wear it for one day. You have a thousand just like it." Jon shouted at him.
"Not in this color, all right? I told you!"
"Would you both, just shut up?!" Tiana screamed at them as she and Clark rushed into the room, with Tiana still holding the crying Liliana.
But at the sound of her mom's scream, the baby girl had inexplicably gone silent, and everybody stared at her. "What is wrong with you two?" Clark asked as he snatched the hoodie from both of their hands and the boys were both giving answers. "We have a baby in the house, along with her absolutely exhausted new mother." He reasoned and Tiana didn't have to take it at all, she felt like she was about to drop off a cliff from how utterly exhausted she was.
"Your mother, she just had her first round of chemo yesterday. Today she needs to recover in peace and quiet, so what she's not gonna listen to all day is the two of you up here fighting over a sweater. Understood?" He asked.
"Right."
"Yeah."
"You know, maybe you guys just go do something outside the house today, huh? In case she needs to nap or she's not feeling well?" Clark was not being very subtle about this. But then again, the boys screaming at each other over a hoodie isn't exactly subtle either.
After the boys had decided to go, Tiana caught onto Clark's arm and he looked at her. "Do I have to take Liliana as well? We can find somewhere to go, if need be." She said and now, the baby was staring up at them both with eyes that matched hers.
"You can stay here, absolutely. I think that having a baby around the house, it might actually help Lois. I-I hope." Clark murmured softly and she grinned.
