Part 27: The California Comeback

With Starscream going through the streams he contemplates his next move and the future.

(to himself) "Friends huh? I wonder if that can even be possible. If I had mentioned taking down optimus as well they would have never agreed to my terms. But we'll see how generous I am when I'm ruling over this planet and Cybertron. Now with them providing me with a distraction I can go completely under the radar for a surprise attack! This isn't enough, I need something even bigger."

Starscream finally emerges from the other side of the bridge and sees Thundercracker with his eyes wide open and the Skywarp clone.

"Well... this is unexpected."

"Hello Thundercracker."

"What do you want? Tell me before I beat the answers out of you!"

"I want access to the spacebridge. Now move aside."

"No way! Why would i ever do that/"

"Because we share Optimus and Megatron as common enemies. The time has come to enact our revenge."

"You mean your revenge"

"You mean you won't join me after what they did to me? To you? To-"

"I'll stop you there. I mourned just like you, but the way you're going to do it isn't good enough. If I want revenge i'm doing it my way, not some lame plan like you're doing!"

"If you won't join me then I'll do it myself, but allow me to pass."

"No way, I'm going to stop you here."

"But why?"

"Because bitch, I'm Thundercracker! I'm a born rebel!"

"You're an idiot and a psychopath who indulges himself as a newborn satist."

"Couldn't have said it better myself."

"If you get in my way I will stop you."

"I doubt it. I've waited a long time for an excuse to kill you, and no it's here."

Starscream steps forward, but the clone suddenly shoots right before Starscream would have landed.

"I wouldn't mess with this new clone if I were you. These guys can really pack a punch now."

"It doesn't matter. Nothing else matters. I will get through that space bridge."

"Then try your luck!"

Thundercracker unsheathes his sword and immediately goes on the offensive. His slashes are reckless yet ruthless. Starscream is only barely able to dodge each strike. His luck runs out when Starscream gets a diagonal cut across the left side of his chest. Thundercracker hacks down just to find out that Starscream has blocked the attack with his hands. He struggles to keep the sword away, and Thundercracker forces his strength on him, dragging him back a few feet. He has enough and headbutts Starscream, kicks him back and tries to stab him. Starscream jumps back and and slashes at Thundercracker, who ducks and punches Starscream in the stomach, and finishes with a jumping uppercut that makes him fall to the floor.

"And that was without the clone's help! Face it you're finished!"

-spits out dirt- "Not yet I'm not."

Thundercracker jumps and holds his sword downward for a finishing stab but Starscream roles out of the way. He points his weapons at his target but due to the loss of his T-Cog he is unable to fire his lasers. He can fire his missiles, but without the cog he has only a limited amount that he doesn't want to waste. All he can do is activate the thrusters around his ankles and rams into Thundercracker, which slams him into the side of the spacebridge. The clone gets involved with the battle and prys Starscream loose, and proceeds to throw him to the ground. Thundercracker is temporarily disoriented from the collision. The clone uppercuts Starscream and shoots at him, but Starscream rolls out of the way in the nick of time. He is kicked down and rolls along the ground. The injured Starscream pants heavily as the clone points its weapons at his head. His life is about to end and there is nothing he can do about it. Then he remembers what he's fighting for. In a desperate move he charges the clone and slashes it in the face, blinding it in one eye. The clone knocks Starscream aside, and he is forced to fire a missile at it's head. The clone dies with its head exploding, and it's just in time to see the clone fall foward to the ground. Thundercracker lets out a "huh". He's never seen Starscream so determined before. he can't let this go on any further. He charges at the seeker with his sword pointed out like a lance. He misses and Starscream goes on the attack. His slashes force Thundercracker to back up. He does a double claw attack that breaks Thundercracker's defenses. Starscream slashes Thundercracker's left forearm, which forces him to let go of his sword. He doesn't have time as it cuts to his face emoting shock as his eyes open with a blank expression after hearing a cold stabbing sound. The trembling Thundercracker looks down to see Starscream's hand has gone inside the side of his stomach. Starscream's expression is so cold and lifeless that he doesn't even look while he opens his hand and carves a circle with his claws. Thundercracker gurgles in pain, and Starscream quickly removes his bloddy hand from Thundercracker;s stomach. Thundercracker instantly falls face-first to the ground and starts bleeding out, but Starscream doesn't seem worried.

"You're lucky, Thundercracker. Had I moved my hand by half an inch to the right it would have been game over for you."

Starscream kneels down and cuts both of Thundercracker's ankles for some reason. He activates the controls for the spacebridge.

"Today I go to Cybertron, and when I return both planets will be mine."

On the other side of the planet in California things seem to be getting worse. A group of rebels led by Giovanni are trying to take back their planet, but to little success.

Giovanni: "This is a pain in the cannoli. These metal morons are trying to take over my turf."

Alfonso: "What do you mean trying? They succeeded."

Giovanni: 'Well forgive me for trying to remain positive in a crisis."

Vinny: "They kicked you out of your own house too."

"Giovanni: "I just hope the wife and Carly are doing alright."

Alfonso: "Knowing them they're doing a better job than you are."

Giovanni: "That hurt, brother, but it's probably true."

Their conversation is cut short when a Vehicon lifts the car that they were hiding behind up. A few more join in to point their weapons at the group of humans. Their weapons charge up, and Giovanni's men give them everything they got. Unfortunately all it does is piss off the Vehicons.

Giovanni: -gulp- "Well boys and girls, it's been nice knowing you."

Alfonso: "Not really."

Man: "I don't even know you."

Time slows down to mere milliseconds before all of their weapons fire. Mirage uncloaks from behind the main Vehicon and decapitates him. He stabs the Vehicons to the left and right of him with his respective armblades. Tailgate appears out of nowhere and battles the remaining five Vehicons. He lodges his paint board shield into the head of the first one. His paintbrush beam sword slices the next two, and he throws the fourth to Mirage, who cuts him up like sushi. The last Vehicon grabs Tailgate from behind in a chokehold. Tailgate spits out his cigarette and jams it in the Vehicon's face. It burns through and melts through the visor and burns the brain unit. Mirage and Tailgate help get the humans in the group to safety.

Giovanni: "Well I don't believe it. It's my old buddy Mirage. So who's the guy with you?"

Tailgate: "Tailgate at your service."

Giovanni: "At my service eh?"

Mirage: "Don't get any ideas."

Giovanni: "I appreciate the help and all but are the two of you all there is?"

Mirage: "Not at all. The rest of us are split off taking care of everything else. Sideswipe is en route to your home to rescue your family."

At the Spencer estate about ten Decepticons are guarding the estate. They've been taking turns shooting at certain points of the house to draw out Carly and Victoria so they can kill them.

Decepticon 1: "Come on out humans and we'll get this over with."

Decepticon 2: "Hey why don't you just blow up the whole place anyway?"

Decepticon 1: "Yeah why didn't I think of that?"

The Decepticon prepares to fire some grenades, but something makes him explode.

Decepticon 2: "What just happened?"

An engine is heard in the background. It's Sideswipe in his stealthforce mode shooting up the place. His fires some grenades to kill a few and provide a smokescreen for him to sneak in and enter the premises. When the smoke clears the other Decepticons shoot at the young Autobot. his stealthforce lets him do a sideways jump and flip to evade all the fire. his lasers decimate the rest until there is only three left. Sideswipe transforms and fires his mines at a lone Decepticon. He fires most of the mines behind the Decepticon, and then fires one into the left arm, and one into his right leg. The Decepticon falls back into all the mines and explodes. The other two are stabbed after Sideswipe shoots out his blades. After the battle Carly and Victoria come out of the house.

Carly: "Sideswipe!"

Side: "I was in the neighborhood so I'd thought I'd say hi."

Carly: "Well it's a good thing you did."

Victoria: "So we're safe now?"

Side: "Safe is a bit of a stretch. Though they shouldn't bother you guys anymore."

Victoria: "Then back in the tanning booth I go."

Side: "Carly, you're with me. We're going to rendezvous with the other back at the Ark."

Carly gets inside and Sideswipe drives off. Meanwhile at Chip's neighborhood the situation worsens. A large Decepticons is going down the street destroying each house as it goes by. It is close to his house when suddenly a large beam strikes the decepticon in the chest. it's was fired by Perceptor. Wheeljack is with him throwing both of his swords into the Decepticon's eyes. Wheeljack jumps up, grabs his swords, and then tears them down from the eyes to slice the head in three pieces. Chip wheels out to see them both.

Wheel: "Thank goodness you're ok."

Chip: "I am now thanks to you guy."

Perce: "We'd never let our friends down. But for right now we must make haste."

Wheel: "So hop in."

Chip: "You know i can't do that."

Wheel: "Then wheel in!"

Wheeljack and Perceptor drive off with Chip to meet with the others. At Spike's neighborhood there are some aerial bombing happening. He sees outside just to see Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Tomahawk coming in to save the day. Tomahawk remains in his helicopter form to shot down any drone and pelt the Decepticons down the street. Ratchet and Bumblebee work together by shooting up the place. Tomahawk flies ahead to meet with the rest of the group while Bumblebee and Ratchet pick up Spike.

Spike: "You came back!"

Bee: "Of course we did!"

Ratchet; "We don't have time for this, let's go!"

Meanwhile Tomahawk is using the camera on his helicopter form to zoom out and spot any enemy airships that are coming their way.A whole legion of motherships are coming straight to them.

Tomahawk: "I see whole bunch of motherships coming our way! We need the Aerialbots now!"

The Aerialbots come in blasting as many ships as they can. Silverbolt however is flying dangerously close to ground and letting the others do the work for him. While that is going on the Dinobots are taking on large Decepticon in some mechanized suits. Grimlock and Sludge are working together while Snarl and Slag handle everything on their own. Swoop has been summoned by Mirage, and Blaster gets gets an idea after watching one of the motherships.

Blaster: "I got a crazy idea."

Mirage: "I'm listening."

Blaster: "We need Superion to take down these ships, but we need one intact. I also need Swoop and Jolt."

Mirage: "You got it. Aerialbot, combine into Superion!"

The Aerialbots combine into Superion and start trashing all of the motherships. He grabs one and smashes it into another ship. He blows up the rest with all of his firepower. Swoop dives down and lets Blaster ride him while he grabs Jolt with his talons. Superion grabs the last remaining mothership and punches a hole in the back of it. He tilts the ship vertically, dumping out all the crew except for one pilot. Swoop, Jolt, and Blaster jump in the hole and go the pilot's room.

Blaster: "Nice ship you got here, but we're taking over."

Vehicon: "Over my dead body!"

Blaster: "Sure thing, but not yet. Jolt, would you do the honor?"

Jolt launches a small EMP shockwave that disables the control system for the ship. Superion still holds onto it while Balster reveals he has tentacles of his own and stabs the Vehicon in the back with it. He is killed, but not before the tentacle downloads something into Blaster. After about an hour of intense fighting the Autobots successfully reclaim San Francisco from the Decepticons. The very few survivors are forced to deal with the Wreckers, who are playing a mean game of Baseball. Topspin's magnets let him act like a pitcher as he swings Decepticons to Leadfoot, whose mace acts like a baseball bat. The Decepticons are smashed to pieces upon impact.

Leadfoot: "Four!"

Road: "That's golf."

Leadfoot: "Shut up."

Everyone meets up at The Ark to discuss their current plans. Superion even brings the lone mothership with them since it is a vital part of Blaster's plan. Ace, Tyrone, and the recently returned Fowler are there to be find out what the next step is.

Grimlock: "Good work everyone. That was a little too fun."

Road: "Too bad it had to end."

Mirage: "There will be more than enough opportunities in the near future."

Grimlock: "Sounds like my ideal vacation."

Silver: "So where do we go from here?"

Mirage: "Blaster had us take one of the motherships as a means to travel."

Perce: " Our groundbridge has been destroyed. You have no choice but to travel in that ship."

Ace: "What do you mean by you?"

Wheel: "Perceptor and I are staying behind like we did in London to provide tactical support. We'll also try to fix the ground bridge and send you supplies along the way."

Fowler: "Now hold the phone just a minute. The Decepticons should be alerted that we took back the city. How are we going to deal with it."

Mirage: "Blaster has that all covered."

Blaster: "I'll explain it on the way. You might be impressed big F."

Fowler: "Big F huh? I like that."

Spike: 'So you're really going off?"

Bee: "We have no choice."

Side: "We'll come back. That's a promise."

Chip: "Then good luck."

Fowler: "I'm going with you guys this time."

Ace: "You sure you want to do that?"

Fowler: "I was kicking ass while you two were still trying to learn how to spell. I'm not leaving it all up to you guys."

Tyrone: 'You heard the man he wants in on the action."

All of a sudden The Ark starts to shake like an earthquake is happening. Two portals open up. One on the ceiling and one on the ground. Three figures fall from the first portal and into the second before both close. All that could be made out is that two of them were white and the other was pink.

Leadfoot: 'What the bloody hell was that?"

Mirage: "I don't know, but this is isn't the time to waste. We got to go."

For the next hour the Autobots, Ace, Tyrone, Fowler, and about one hundred human soldiers pack food and supplies for their big journey around the world. They could have easily had more humans go along they way, but they decided a small number was best. But of course it wouldn't be that easy when a bunch of vans with film equipment.

?: "WAIT!"

It's Michael Bay of all people and his film crew.

Sling: "What's he doing here?"

Bay: "Look they trashed my set, and I need to find a better place for reshoots. Is it ok that we film you guys while you go around saving the world? It would really help the movie."

Mirage: "That depends on how long you plan on staying."

Bay: "We'll stick around until China. You can drop us all off there. It's where the finale of Transturners 5 is going to be."

Mirage: "Very well."

Tyrone: "Man are you for real right now?"

Mirage: "We need a distraction to keep us sane. He's as good as anything."

Bay: "Alright people let's make a movie!"

Grimlock: "Alright Earth, you're about to get saved Dinobot style."

Road: "Alright Wreckers, I'm driving."

Jolt: "Yeah let's do it!"

The Autobots, military, and the film crew all leave on the damaged mothership. The biggest fights of their life would soon begin at their first stop.
