Part 6: Mirage and The Mafia

Shockwave brings them down to the inner base, wanting to see Shockblast's progress with the newly captured Autobot. He accesses Shockblast's most recent audio log.

Shockblast's log, entry number four. Subject feels as I do, but I intend to change that. The declining of the ego has proven to be a difficult task. No matter what I inject or what I peel back he retains his strenght. He has yet to submit. He claims that it is his will that keeps him strong, but I find that highly illogical. There must be something I'm missing. I'll just have to peel back more layers of skin until I find out what it is.

Knockout: "Kinky"

Shock: "Now you know what my progress is."

Shockwave: "Come, we must check on the other prisoners."

The three go down to the lower levels where the Insecticons are being held captive. The first one they visit is Kickback, who has the containment cell nearest to the door. He is jumping around in his grasshopper form trying to break out, but is unable to. He sees them watching him and transforms back into his robot form.

Kickback: (shouting) When I get out of here I'm going to do something so bad to you guys that you'll need a hundred censor bars to block it out!"

Knockout: "Oh do tell."

Kickback: (perverted) "I'm just a soft, horny meat biscuit."

Shockwave: "Let's move on."

Kickback: "Hey you can't leave, I'm not done making you feel uncomfortable yet!"

They next check on Shrapnel, who is trying to use his electrical powers to break out.

Shock: "It's no use Shrapnel, your containment cell neutralizes your electrical powers."

Shrapnel: (shrill) "This is an outrage outrage! You can't keep us here here!"

Shock: "We can and we will." 

Shrapnel: "Not for long long."

They finally check out Bombshell, who is sitting in a chair watching them observe him.

Bomb: "We are not animals to be caged up. This is wrong."

Shockwave: "Correction Bombshell, this is science."

Bomb: "Science? Clearly you jest. I'm locked up for standing against oppression."

Shockwave: "You tried to defeat Megatron."

Bomb: "And I would face him a thousand times if it meant getting the satisfaction of crushing his spark in the palm of my hands."

Shockwave: "Your reasoning is illogical. Come, we're done here."

Bomb: "We will be free Shockwave, mark my words. And when we do it's going to be your fault."

Shockwave and the rest are walking down the hallway when a random Vehicon runs over with some interesting news.

Vehicon: "Sir we have something you need to see."

The Vehicon leads them out to an excavation site. Some Vehicons are working a giant crane, and are using the hooks to drag something out of the ground. Out comes 7 completely intact fossils of some monsters, though one is much bigger than than the other six.

Vehicon: "We struck it when we were digging, what do you want us to do?"

Shockwave: "Put it in storage, we will use it later."

Vehicon: "Understood."

Shockwave and the other two go back inside the tower to discuss some last minute updates.
