Part 29: Blaster's Choice

Back on Cybertron we finally get to see where Elita-1 has been held up all this time. She had been unconscious this whole time and is fed just enough Energon to keep her alive. It appears to be somewhere in the lowest levels of the tower, presumably underground. The lighting is very poor and she is strapped to a table. She is not alone in the room because this is where all of the darker experiments have been trapped. They all share a large cage that locks them in. Due to the poor lighting none can be seen very well. There are around ten experiments but only two have any significance to the future. One is much larger than the others, and seems to have a long neck. The other is much smaller and has wings. Elita-1 finally awakens just in time to see Knockout wheeling in a cart that is carrying some sort of cocoon/pod.

"Oh you're awake. Enjoy your sleep?"

"Where am I?"

"You're in Shockblast's fun zone. Nowhere that I would want to be locked up."

"Then release me if it bothers you so much."

"That's a no can do. I may be bothered by it but that doesn't mean I'm bothered that you're here. If anything it's a fitting punishment."

"Very well, but at least tell me what lays inside that cocoon?"

"That's your old friend trapped in there. Where do you think she's been ever since we captured her a few years back? Twiddling her thumbs? She's been experimented on like crazy. All she had to do to make it stop was give up your location, but she never cracked. After a bunch of DNA experiments she put herself in this cocoon thanks to the powers of the creature she now shares the DNA with. I'd tell you Shockwave and Shockblast had a look of surprise on them, but that whole only having one eye thing says otherwise."

"Is she alive?"

"Not sure. We're going to burn it in a few days anyway. Have fun."

Knockout leaves to return to the upper floors. Even in the lowest regions of the base Kickback and the Insecticons can still be heard.

Kickback: "GET OVER HERE AND SEE DADDY'S LITTLE MONSTER!"

Bomb: "Will you shut up already!"

Shrapnel: "It wasn't funny the first time first time!"

With Elita-1 struggling to try and free herself she is completely unaware that she will soon face what lies inside the pod. On the back of the pod lays a minuscule crack.

Back in Australia Thundercracker is awakening from his nearly fatal fight with Starscream. The seeker is struggling to get up. This is because Starscream severed the tendons around his ankles so he can't move. Every moment is just wracked with pain. He can barely move an inch, and from the look of it he's going to be staying there.

On board the mothership the Autobots are moving to Mexico, which appears to be heavily guarded. They are currently deciding who should go next after Bumblebee and his friend's surprisingly easy adventure.

Swoop: "You guys sure had it easy."

Side: "Jealous?"

Swoop: "Actually yes."

Mirage: "It appears that since then they've beefed up their security."

Grimlock: "Then it looks like it's time to bring out the big guns."

Mirage: "Wreckers, do you think you're up for the task?"

Topspin: "I don't know, maybe."

Road: "Of course we're ready."

Mirage: "Then good luck."

And so the Wreckers attacked. It took six long hours to destroy every target, but their mission was successful. They return battered and bruised. It cuts to the Dinobots wreaking havoc upon anyone who gets in their way. It only takes two hours before they finish. Then the Aerialbots combine and take down what forces they go against there. As they go to each location they alternate with who goes. This time Bay is filming all the action. Though no matter how many times they take a tower down more just seem to be taking its place. Their situation worsens when they add a new form of security.
