"Will you ever understand that I am married and I actually need to give at least some time to my wives?"

I asked Duryodhan who looked at me apologetically.

"I promise I won't disturb you afterwards. I was just too excited to meet Bhanumati", he said.

I just rolled my eyes.

We walked forward and then entered in the garden where Bhanumati comes daily to collect flowers.

"There she is", Duryodhana breathed out. I saw her. She was really pretty.

She came laughing with her maids.

"Princess", Duryodhan reached there impatiently.

I slapped my forward.

It looks so inappropriate. This idiot.

I reached there with an expression, 'I don't know this man', as the princess looked at him confused.

"Pranipat", I said pinching Duryodhan on his stomach as he yelped and gulped seeing my glare.

"I am Angraj and this is my friend, Rajkumar Duryodhan", I said folding my hands and Duryodhan did the same.

I smiled at the princess who looked at me rather longer making me uncomfortable.

Duryodhana didn't notice it in his excitement.

"Pranipat Angraj", Bhanumati squealed. "Pranipat Rajkumar", she said rather gently.

"We were just strolling when we saw you so we decided to greet you. All the best for your wedding. I hope you live a happy life with whomever you choose", I said smiling genuinely.

She nodded with a betroot red face as she shyly glanced at me.

I felt a bit weird and pulled Duryodhan in front of me looking away slightly.

"Oh! See, Singh Naresh"

My eyes darkened hearing the name.

"I guess we should go", I said knowing well that I will kill that bastard this instant if I see him but Duryodhan frowned and shook his head.

"We should meet him", he requested and I resisted the urge to just pull him away. I went grumpily behind him with the princess following us.

I glared at that man who had his dirty gaze set on Bhanumati and walked in front of her, protecting her from his evil gaze.

He looked at me and gulped as my glare hardened.

"Karn", Duryodhan hissed seeing it.

I ignored it and just cursed Jaydrath in my mind glaring at him harshly with clenched jaw and fists.

If looks could kill, he would be ten feets under the ground now!

"Uh- Pranipat Angraj?" He greeted but it came out as a question because he didn't know why I was ready to pounce on him.

"Pranipat Sindh Naresh", I said now with a sweet smile. "I hope you had a great day and I hope you will want to have great days ahead as well".

"Huh?" Jaydrath questioned confused.

"Stop staring at the princess like you own the world around you", I said straightforwardly.

"Karn!" Duryodhan exclaimed shocked at my rude statement because well nothing was wrong in staring but the type of stare was disgusting however it was normal here.

"Angraj! Mind your words", Jaydrath growled coming forward.

"Mind your tongue and your strength. I don't want this to be the last day of you on this Earth", I stepped forward and he gulped but masked it quickly.

"Remember Sindh Naresh, I am not the man who entertains certain dirty things that are normal here. Whatever happens will be the princess's choice so keep your pathetic self away from her", I warned. From my side eye, I saw Bhanumati smiling hard at me.

She had come beside me and was now standing a few steps away.

"Oh? Will you keep these words in mind if Rajkumar Duryodhan forgets his limits?" Jaydrath mocked.

I smirked.

"He knows well what to do and what not to do unlike some people here. For him, my words are enough but I doubt if my punches will be enough for you or not? Oh and yes! Karn never goes ahead his morals. So keep that in mind. Duryodhan wouldn't dare cross the line", I assured.

Jaydrath looked at Duryodhana who just raised his hands in surrender. "When it comes to right and wrong, even I am not an exception", he said to Jaydrath.

"So I would like that you keep this mind and know where you stand. Now before you ruin my mood even more than you already did by showing me your ugly face, kindly get lost", I spatted with hatred.

"Isn't your friend quite rude to me for no reason?" Jaydrath scowled at Duryodhan who was confused himself at my behaviour and passed me a disappointed stare.

Urgh. You will understand soon Duryodhana. 'sighs'

"So?" I mocked.

Jaydrath hissed and went away. I glared at his way.

"Well. He actually deserves that. There are not much good things to hear about him", Bhanumati said.

"Karn... Don't get too happy. That was not the way to behave with someone you meet for the first time", Duryodhan scolded.

"You behave with douchebags this way only", I assured.

"What has gotten in you?!" He exclaimed. "You never behave in this way with anyone for no apparent reason", he said.

"Exactly. So there is a reason", I said.

"What is it?" He asked curious.

"I will let you know when it's the right time", I said to him.

He looked at me confused because this was the first time I was hiding something from him and not telling him immediately.

"Just trust me, will you!" I exclaimed.

"Sometimes I feel you know many things others have no idea about", he said. I stiffened.

"Duryodhan", I said slowly.

"It's ok", he sighed. "I will wait. I just hope it's not something that serious", he muttered.

Well. It's actually something related to your sister so it's dead serious.

"He's glaring at you", Bhanumati commented. Me and Duryodhan looked in his direction.

"Great! Sindh Naresh. Just give angry stares from far away. Because you clearly know, you are not capable of anything more than that", I roasted him.

"Sadly, looks don't kill otherwise the one I could give you would have pushed you under the Earth. But unlike you, I prove my words by my actions and not by my glares like your pathetic self", I added.

"Karn", Duryodhan hissed. "We will meet you later princess. Sorry for this", he said and pulled me away as I kept smirking at Jaydrath who looked so furious but didn't do anything knowing my strength well.
