After a very disappointing weekend last weekend, the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink to play the Ohio State University Buckeyes hoping to pull an upset over Ohio State. With 12:18 left in the first period, Ethan Cox scored to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 9:49 left in the first period, Ryan Dzingle scored to tie the game 1-1. David Gagnon and Collin Olson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading into the first intermission. With 18:17 left in the second period, Gary Mitchell scored to make it 2-1 Raiders. With 12:28 left in the second period, Anthony Greco scored to tie the game 2-2. Gagnon and Olson matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so 2-2 remains our score and we'll play extra hockey this evening. With 1:17 left in overtime, Brad Dexter scored to win the game for the Raiders 3-2! Colgate improved to 7-6-2 on the season!
