After a resilient effort all weekend long last weekend, the Colgate Raiders head to Canton,New York to play the St. Lawrence Saints at Appleton Arena. David Gagnon and Matt Weninger matched zeros in the first period so no score heading to the second period. Gagnon and Weninger matched zeros in the middle stanza as well so we remain scoreless after forty minutes of play in Canton. With 7:46 left in the third period, Gunnar Hughes scored to make it 1-0 St. Lawrence. With 41 seconds left in the third period, Brad Dexter scored to tie the game 1-1. Gagnon and Weninger matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so 1-1 remains our score heading to extra hockey yet again. With 4:20 left in overtime, Mike Harder scored to win the game for the Raiders 2-1! Colgate improved to 14-8-4 on the season and 8-3-3 in ECAC Hockey play!
