After a come from behind win last night, the Colgate Raiders head to Cheel Arena in Potsdam, New York to play the hottest team in the country at this point, the Clarkson Golden Knights hoping to win a heavyweight bout this evening. Alex Evin and Steve Perry matched zeros in the first period so no score heading to the second period so no score heading to period number two. With 11:10 left in the second period, Ben Sexton scored to make it 1-0 Clarkson. Evin and Perry matched zeros for the remainder of period number two so 1-0 Tech leads heading to period number three. With 5 minutes left in the third period, Steve Riggs scored to tie the game 1-1. With 12 seconds left in the third period, Corbin McPherson scored to make it 2-1 Colgate! Alex Evin finished Clarkson off and Colgate wins 2-1! Colgate improved to 8-2-3 on the season and 4-0-2 in ECAC Hockey play!
