A Freshmen Class For The Ages

Head Coach Howard Starr welcomes in a phenomenal recruiting class for the upcoming season and Coach Starr looks forward to seeing how these talented freshmen play together against hefty competition from the college hockey world. Colgate men's hockey will need to navigate through a challenging schedule in order to realize their dreams of winning the national championship for the next four years. Coach Starr will lead the Raiders at a place named after his great grandfather which will hope to have new banners in the rafters of Starr Rink with this recruiting class on the Starr Rink ice. So, can Colgate reach their lofty goals with this roster occupying the Starr Rink ice?

As I've said previously on millions of occasions, Starr Rink was the greatest rink in college hockey history because of the atmosphere inside the barn night in and night out. The roster I have created are all legends of Starr Rink and I found a way to make it a little older than I normally would because I actually put the thought into making this roster as special as Starr Rink was to thousands of people across Central New York for 57 years. Anywho, we'll discuss the beauty of Starr Rink throughout this story but for now sit back, relax and enjoy the story!

I hope you enjoy my NaNoWriMo project with the Colgate Raiders as I introduce to you The Mighty Raiders! The Mighty Raiders were brought together by the common goal of beating ECAC Hockey foes Quinnipiac, Clarkson and of course, Cornell. All of the players who are on this roster are what I'm entitling "Legends of Starr Rink" and I can't wait to see how they play together the next four years here in Central New York as we play four seasons with this Mighty Raiders team.
