After a resilient effort last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders head to Princeton, New Jersey to play the Princeton Tigers hoping for win number ten in ECAC Hockey play this season. With 3:49 left in the first period, David McKenzie scored to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 12 seconds left in the first period, Mike Ford scored to tie the game 1-1. Alex Evin and Mike Condon matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading to the second period. With 12:16 left in the second period, Michael Zajac scored to make it 2-1 Princeton. With 17 seconds left in the second period, Mike Borkowski scored to tie the game 2-2. Evin and Condon matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-2 is still our score heading to the third period. With 12:22 left in the third period, Eugene Murphy scored to make it 3-2 Colgate. With 19 seconds left in the third period, Jack Berger scored to tie the game 3-3. Evin and Condon matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so 3-3 remains our score and we'll play extra hockey tonight. With 1:12 left in overtime, Steve Riggs scored to win the game for the Raiders 4-3! Colgate improved to 16-9-5 on the season and 10-4-4 in ECAC Hockey play!
