Yue is pacing restlessly back and forth in the unlit master bedroom. Behind her, the bathroom door is open and the light coming from it contours her shape. She's wearing a striped pajamas, and the soft, cozy fabric caresses her petite figure. She's mumbling incomprehensible words, her frown is creased, her face puzzled and confused.

"How... It's impossible..." are the only words Dylan can make of as he stops at the bedroom door, resting on the doorframe with a side smirk on his slips.

She's just so cute! But what is she doing?

He decides to ask. "Cookie?"

"No!" Yue bluntly cuts as she stops to face him, puzzling Dylan even more. "Don't you dare cookie me!"

What?! What is happening here?

First things first - since the kids are finally asleep, Dylan shushes Yue because the last thing they need now is a crying toddler pitter-pattering towards their room, crying for attention.

He softly closes the door, walks towards Yue with confusion stamped on his face and gently takes her by the hand. A couple of steps more and he sits on the bed, places his hands on Yue's hips and lovingly looks at her as she stands in front of him.

"What did I do this time?" he sincerely asks, simultaneously attempting to contain a laugh. What is his señorita mad about now?

Lately, Damian and David have been giving her a hard time. When a five-year-old boy realizes he now has an ally in his two-year-old brother, a household can become the aftermath of a tornado in a matter of seconds, and Yue expects Dylan to help her teach the boys how to behave. This has been the topic of most of their family discussions lately.

"You did it again," she says with the face of a child that reluctantly answers a question, crossing her arms on her chest.

Dylan releases the chuckle he's been holding in. "What? What did I do now?"

Yue reaches inside her pocket to take out the cause of her troubles. "This is what you did," she replies, opening her hand to him, disclosing a positive pregnancy test she took while he was putting their four toddlers to sleep.

"Ooh," is the only thing that comes out of Dylan's mouth as he stares at the stick, mostly thinking how his beloved wife could put that thing in her pajama pocket knowing she peed on it. Yuck.

Focus Dylan!

The truth is, Dylan was a hundred percent certain they were going to have five children because he felt it from the moment Damian was conceived, and he has sensed it with every conception ever since.

On the other hand, after having David -who has been a bit of handful for his parents- Yue was sure she would be able to avoid another pregnancy, also because she couldn't rationally fathom that Dylan's hunch was a prediction of something unavoidable. How could that be possible? She's one pragmatic gal, a woman who took control of her destiny after her failed arranged marriage.

It can't be, and I will prove it! she kept repeating to herself the past two years.

She can openly admit the previous four pregnancies were a distraction, the fruit of love and passion coming together with a degree of recklessness. But not this one. She's been the epitome of carefulness, forcing Dylan to take extra precautions on the most dangerous days of her cycle.

After giving some thought to his next words, Dylan decides to inquire: "Do you not want this baby, cookie?"

Those words hit Yue like a slap on the face. Of course she wants this baby!
