Hello, Haru here,
It's been a long time hasn't it? I've been busy with university stuff and I apologise for the delay. As promised here's the summary. I will divide the summary into a few parts. My book tends to be detailed and long, but I'll keep the summary as brief as I can while still capturing the main plot. I hope you enjoy it ^^
As the writer, I have the right to discontinue my book under any reason or circumstances. Thank you for your understanding ^^
Chapter Summary
Chapters 61-64:
Jeongyeon faces challenges during her Mini Project due to the last-minute cancellation of exclusive content. Despite her struggles, she refuses to seek help or advice from Nayeon, with whom she's had recent arguments. Since their last meeting ended in a fight, Nayeon hasn't attended any team meetings, and the two rarely see each other back at the hotel. Jeongyeon hears that Nayeon has been exploring Shanghai and assumes she's treating it as a "vacation." Unexpectedly, however, Nayeon steps in to help, using her industry connections to secure new content.
After an exhausting week, Nayeon stays late in the Editing Room one Friday night, long after the other staff have gone home. Jeongyeon notices Nayeon has left her handbag behind, and rushes to catch up to her. Outside, she spots Nayeon crossing the street, only to see her suddenly collapse. Jeongyeon saves her and drives her home, though Nayeon avoids explaining the incident. Concerned, Jeongyeon stops at a nearby store to buy Nayeon sneakers to replace her heels.
Later, while meeting with a fashion designer, Jeongyeon unexpectedly encounters a familiar face: Lee Jung Hwan, the former Director of Son Group, who mysteriously disappeared a year ago.
Jeongyeon had been on the hunt for the Finance Director, the man who had inadvertently revealed the existence of a confidential project to her a year earlier: the Peninsular Project. Since then, he had vanished without a trace. Jeongyeon was filled with questions, but she knew that the former director would have no answers for her. Instead, he had issued a stern warning, never to mention the Peninsular Project to anyone, or she would be putting herself in danger.
That warning only fueled Jeongyeon's determination, making her believe that this project was crucial leverage against the chairman. With a newfound sense of purpose, she resolved to dig deeper into the Peninsular Project.
Chapter 65-66:
As Cruise Director, Chaeyoung remains committed to ensuring smooth operations and the safety of passengers and crew, preventing her from disembarking at the last two ports, Kagoshima and Shimizu. Mina offers to stay on board to keep her company, but Chaeyoung convinces her to explore Japan with Momo, encouraging her to enjoy the sights, take photos, and experience her home country. Since Chaeyoung's recent confession, Mina hasn't responded or brought it up, leaving Chaeyoung anxiously waiting.
The Japan Flower Cruise concludes successfully, and although Chaeyoung is due to return to South Korea to report on her Mini Project, she arranges an extra day in Japan to spend time with Mina, exploring her hometown together. For Chaeyoung, it feels like their first "unofficial" date, and she happily buys countless gifts for Mina, who seems a bit overwhelmed.
Chaeyoung now fully understands her feelings and feels deeply connected to Mina. She wants nothing more than to be with her, to hold her, sleep beside her, kiss her, and never leave her side. Though aware this may push boundaries, Chaeyoung's heart is overflowing, and she finally confronts Mina. Mina, somewhat taken aback, agrees to let Chaeyoung express her affection as long as she respects any signs of discomfort. Overjoyed, Chaeyoung doesn't hold back, repeatedly confessing her feelings until Mina, blushing, reluctantly reciprocates to stop the flood of sweet words. Happy with Mina's response, Chaeyoung asks if she can sleep beside her that night, but Mina initially declines. Dejected, Chaeyoung starts to leave, only for Mina to stop her, reconsider, and eventually agree. They spend a peaceful night together, with Chaeyoung's arms wrapped around Mina's waist and Mina gently holding Chaeyoung's arms, bringing a quiet sense of contentment to them both.
