*Do recall Chapter 14-15*

Two years later.

"Chaeng Chaeng!"

Hearing the high-pitched call, Chaeyoung immediately rose from her seat and set her painting brush down. She dashed to the door and saw a group of children disembarking from the mini bus. The mini bus had the words "God's Little Angels" written boldly on the side. The kids ran towards her with a wide smile and before she knew it, she had a few of them in her arms while others clung to her legs.

Chaeyoung chuckled as she looked down at the little ones. She waved at the two women standing by the mini bus, both smiling warmly at her. They were familiar faces. Seulgi and Irene, as always were volunteering again. Chaeyoung bowed slightly to them in greeting and they waved back in return.

"Pretty Unnie is still getting ready, should we wait at the dance studio first?" Chaeyoung asked and glanced down at the group of excited children gathered around her. She lightly patted the heads of a few of them, counting them in her head. Eleven in total.

"Play! Play!" The kids chanted instead.

"Well, I think we have enough for a football team," Chaeyoung said, grinning. She rounded them up and said, "Hold hands, everyone!" The kids eagerly obeyed and linked their tiny hands together, forming a little chain.

Before they could start walking, the door to the art studio next door burst open with a loud bang and five teenagers spilled out. The house was a three-story bungalow, its wooden structure creaking as the door swung opened. The teens looked like they had just woken up late. Their hair a tangled mess and their clothes slightly wrinkled as if they had rushed out without a second thought. It was clear they hadn't had time to shower. Some of them still had that sleepy, disoriented look in their eyes.

Chaeyoung raised an eyebrow and turned her attention to them. "What happened?" she asked as she watched the group.

"Mama's mad mad," Rose said dramatically then glanced nervously at the door behind her as if expecting their "angry mama" to appear at any moment.

"I forgot my shoes!" Dahlia cried out. Her voice panicked as she clutched her bare feet.

"It's all Jasmine's fault," Fflur interjected and pointed an accusatory finger at the younger.

"What? It's you who suggested—" Jasmine began to protest but was immediately interrupted by Fflur.

"Come back here!" Came a loud voice from inside the house next door, causing all the teenagers to jump and snap their heads toward the open door. The voice echoed through the neighborhood and even the kids stopped to look around. They giggled which clearly was enjoying the chaos unfolding in front of them.

The youngest of the teenagers turned to Chaeyoung, "Mommy," Lily pouted, begging for sympathy while the others had rushed away, afraid of getting caught by their Mama. Dahlia decided it wasn't worth the risk to go back into the house for her shoes. So, she sprinted after the others, wearing nothing but her socks.

Chaeyoung's heart melted at the sight of Lily's worried face. She smiled. "It's okay, sweetie," she said gently and swept a stray lock of hair from Lily's forehead. "Off you go now but be careful, alright? And tell Dahlia that Mommy will send her shoes during lunch break. Ah—also tell your sisters not to forget our plan tonight," she winked.

Lily giggled, nodding before she gave Chaeyoung a hug then ran off to join the others. Chaeyoung watched as the teenagers scattered. Their laughter ringing out as they teased and chased each other on their way to the school just down the street.
