Chapter 66:

"GroundUp CEO Chaeyoung Faces Backlash Over Alleged Mismanagement of a Partnership Project. Repeating Past Mistakes with Peninsular Project"

Mina stared at the screen. It had been three days since her conversation with Yuta and he had made his move. The headlines were endless. She couldn't even keep up with it all. She was worried and wondered how this would affect GroundUp but Tzuyu reassured her. Tzuyu mentioned she had already contacted Chaeyoung and they had countermeasures in place. Tzuyu wanted Mina to focus on stabilizing her company and leave the legal matters to her.

For the past few days, Mina had been working nonstop with her legal team and coordinated with her finance executives and PR head. Every meeting felt like a race against time as she tried to stay ahead of the damage. She couldn't ignore the sudden surge in shares being bought by the Hirai, Haebarangi and a personal account. She immediately knew it was Nayeon and Jeongyeon. She didn't question it. She didn't reject or decline their support. After all, their help would take care of one major issue which was the volatility of their stocks and the market.

But Mina didn't have the time to properly acknowledge the help she was receiving. There was simply too much on her plate. Partnership negotiations and the relentless work of regaining the trust and confidence of her stakeholders had consumed her every waking moment. Each day felt like a blur as she bounced between meetings, conference calls, and discussions. Her schedule had become a constant travel as she flew from one branch to another.
