Chapter 9:

London, United Kingdom

Mina had regained the intellectual property of her father's company after it had been wrongfully acquired by the Son Group through fraudulent means. One day, Tzuyu arrived at her rented apartment, holding a folder containing the official documentation. Inside were the legal papers confirming that the IP, along with all the associated designs, trademarks, copyrights, and a substantial compensation package had been transferred into Mina's name.

As Mina glanced over the documents and the bank statements included, a bitter laugh escaped her lips.

Chaeyoung had truly gone to great lengths to silence her.

The intellectual property transfer had been ordered by the court and Tzuyu had taken care of the entire legal process. Mina, however, was unaware of this. She believed that Chaeyoung had been the one to hand over the IP to her.
After receiving the documents, Mina decided to continue her father's efforts and dreams. She set out to rebuild the business using her father's designs, trademarks, and branding.

With the intellectual property back in her hands, Mina founded her own company. She took great care to preserve the essence of her father's designs while modernizing them for the contemporary market. Within four years, Mina's footwear company had skyrocketed to success, surpassing even her own expectations. It attracted widespread attention. Mina had worked tirelessly, building a loyal customer base. Retailers began clamoring for her products and soon her brand was featured in high-end department stores globally.

Mina became one of the top young entrepreneurs in the fashion industry with interviews, media features, and speaking engagements filling her schedule. Her company's headquarters was based in London with branches in France, Spain and Italy. The expansion had happened so quickly.

This achievement was possible due to strong financial backing (compensation) that allow her to scale up production and invest in international operations faster. Having worked in the business fashion industry before, Mina's expertise was laying an effective marketing strategies and forming key partnerships. It was skills she honed while working as Chaeyoung's assistant.

She wasn't involved in the creative side and wouldn't have come this far if she had to design her own footwear. Instead, she built on her father's design, using strategic planning to market the product and drive the company's success. To ensure the brand stayed true to her father's vision, Mina handpicked her design team with care and selecting designers whose styles aligned perfectly with his work.

Sometimes, Mina would feel overwhelmed by the rapid growth of her company. She had never expected things would turn out like this. One evening, after launching her newest product collection, Mina stood in her office and gazed out the window. The city below was bustling with energy but it felt quieter to her. She had come so far. She rebuilt everything and in doing so, she had rediscovered her own strength. She wasn't just carrying on her father's dream anymore, she had created her own.

Her phone buzzed on the desk, interrupting her thoughts. It was a message from Tzuyu: "Congratulations on your new collection launch. I'm proud of you, Mina."

A small smile tugged at her lips as she replied, "Thank you. I couldn't have done it without you."

Tzuyu had been by Mina's side throughout the entire journey, witnessing every side of her. Stressful Mina. Happy Mina. Frustrated Mina. Angry Mina. Sad Mina. Through it all, Tzuyu never broke her promise to stay by her side, whether as her legal consultant or simply as a friend. Tzuyu had been a constant support, helping Mina more than she could ever express.
