QUEST OF POWER

CHAPTER 16

Aarav was numb. He couldn't feel anything. Lavanya did his check-up and said something but he was too lost in his thoughts that he was unable to hear her. She could sense his emotions but couldn't do anything to make him feel better, because she knew the only person who could make him feel better is Kabir Sir, so she got up and without saying anything went outside. From upstairs she saw Sharvari and Kabir talking about something and Shrey and Tara sitting silently in the living room.

As she descended stairs, her heels caught attention of them and they turned towards her, Kabir and Shrey both were beside her immediately, "Dr. Lavanya How is he, Is there any Problem?" Kabir asked even though being experienced in this field he couldn't help but be paranoid and required some other professional to assure his queries. Lavanya's silence scared him but he knew it, it was not about his Aru's health but definitely something else. So he grabbed Lavanya's hand and with a stern voice questioned her, "Dr. Lavanya, what is the matter? why are you not answering any questions? Did Aru said something that upset you?Just speak up damn it", he yelled at last as she refused to utter a word and Lavanya looked at him with a startled expression.

"Sir, Aarav sir got to know everything about that happened yesterday", she informed him and he got furious, "You do know Dr. Lavanya, I clearly told you that". He was furious as he knows how his Idiot brother's brain works, he might be blaming himself for whatever happened and he can't let that happen, not now not ever. "How he got to know about this?" Lavanya was skeptical about answering this but with another stern glare from him made her blurt out, "He used his magical power on me and forced me tell everything to him". After hearing the answer he got more furious as there was no need to use the power, he would have told him in a day or two as he recovered as his magic is drained.

Shrey gasped knowing his bhaiyu used powers that too without any need, now he can only pray for him too save him from The Kabir Tiger Rathore. His bhaiya already disagrees about magic but still gave them permission to use them when in need but his bhaiyu used it for unnecessary things. Now he can only imagine what his bhaiya will do with his bhaiyu. But Kabir was furious about one more thing that is he used his magic when he himself is weak and would have faint if he overused it and seeing his brother's negligence towards his health made him furious.

While they were downstairs thinking about how to face Aarav when they heard loud voice from Aarav's room. All of them looked at upstairs and then at Kabir, "Bhaiya what is bhaiyu doing? what if he hurt himself? I'm scared bhaiya....please do something", Shrey was really panicking and on the verge of tears, Kabir too was panicking but he forced himself to calm down and faced Shrey and cupped his face, "Shrey, beta, you trust me right", Kabir asked to which he gasped as if offended of the question and answered, "Of course bhaiya I trust you with my life", Kabir smiled relieved and spoke, "Okay so listen to me carefully, nothing will happen to your bhaiyu, I will go upstairs and make everything right okay, he's just upset that we hid such a big thing from him, but don't worry, there is nothing in this world that your bhaiya can't do right", Shrey was relieved to hear this because he knew if his bhaiya said this then he will definitely fulfill it. So Kabir kissed his forehead and went upstairs.

He opened Aarav's room and saw that the whole room was in shambles while Aarav was standing in the middle, his energy overflowing and his hands closed tightly in a fist. This was the second time he saw Aarav like this unable to control his powers. The first time he saw was years ago when someone tried to harm him and Aarav almost shred him too pieces but today was different. His emotions were haywire and he couldn't control them so those emotions are overpowering him and pouring out in magical form and destroying everything.
