QUEST OF POWER

CHAPTER 18

Armaan was reading a book when suddenly he thought something and got up. "Khanna let's go to that place", he said and both of them vanished in thin air. Armaan looked around with a maniac grin and Khanna was confused as why they were in this place. "Hukum sa why are we here? This the same-", he got cut off by Armaan, "Yes, Khanna this is the same place where Kabir Rathore was going to build a pathetic hospital, but you stopped him". They were at the barren land and Armaan was looking around. "This place needs to be protected from those good signs and I know a perfect way to do that", he said and then raised his hands in the air and a honey-comb like shield structure surrounded the whole land.

"Now Khanna ask someone to enter this premises without my permission", Armaan asked him to do. "But why Hukum sa, I can do that for you", Khanna said confused. "Just do what I said Khanna don't ask unnecessary questions", without wasting a second Khanna left to do the bidding. Soon he asked one of his servant to enter the land premises, he was shivering and all the others were watching in anticipation as to what will happen but still the he went ahead because he knew if he refused , he will still die and if by chance he survived then he can be saved and walked there and as soon as his leg got in contact with the shield, it got burned and a specific sound started which was only audible to him, he cried in pain as the sound was unbearable and soon his ears started bleeding and fell on the ground lifeless.

Khanna and all the remaining people watched the horror unfolding in front of them with their eyes and stood unmoving. Armaan started laughing his monstrous laugh and clapped, "Wow, what a show.... it was amazing, but alas it ended soon", he said at last with a pout looking at the servant's body on the ground. "Did you watch all of you what will happen if someone without my permission so much as tries to keep their foot on this place, they will get burned and all of their nervous system will collapse with the alarm system here within seconds", all of them looked at him in horror, how can one enjoy death as much as this man.

He said then created a powerful illusion as it was barren land for outlookers, so passerby people will avoid it and if someone tried to quench their curiosity then they will face the same result, that servant got. "We will return to this place at next month's Amavas as that day, the map will be drawn for whole one day", he said with serious face.

And here Shrey saw that all those eagles surrounded Tara, who was transformed into a sparrow and were constantly trying to get her, she immediately came back to her original form and fell on the ground. There were nearly five eagle shapeshifters remaining who also came and surrounded her and one of them threw electric power on her which injured her severely.

Shrey went towards her, he saw them surrounding her, "Ohh eagle people, here here", he called them to divert their mind, he saw at Tara and nodded at her, she camouflaged herself with the nearby tree as she was injured and couldn't fight. Shrey heaved a sigh of relief seeing her safe, he looked straight in the eye of one man and thought, 'turn to your right and electrocute your friend', the man as if in trance turned to his right and threw electricity on his fellow who passed out right then and there. 'Now do the same with your remaining friends' again the voice said, the remaining were watching this and knew he is controlling his thoughts and forced him to do such things. That man has became a danger for them so they looked at each other and all threw their powers collectively towards him and killed him without remorse.

Shrey looked at this in horror and tried to do the same thing to others but they got know his technique and avoided eye contact. Shrey understood their tactics and before they could react and attack him, he threw a fierce giant water ball towards them which caught all the three of them at the same time and soon threw another elemental wind ball which made the attack more furious. After sometime the clear water started to turn red with their blood as they got dissolved in it.
