Part 23 - Secret Spot

Clarke POV

It has been two days and I have been ignoring my mom. Bellamy and Octavia are sticking around making sure I am okay and don't lose my cool again. I don't mind the company, but I wish they would give me a little space. Every now and then O disappears, and I know she is with Lincoln. I'm happy she has someone that cares about her, she deserves it.

It's just Octavia and me in my room talking about when we first landed. She was the one to take the first steps on the ground and she loved the attention. I look at my watch and back up at Octavia. She has a smile on her face. "Go on, I will make up a story if anyone asks where you are." She tells me and I give her a quick hug. I sneak out of the ark and head into the woods arriving at Lexa and my spot. It's a ledge looking over the forest and it is breathtaking. I look around and finally find Lexa.

Lexa POV

I see Clarke staring at the overview of the forest. She turns around and we hug. "What happened to your hand? Is that from the fight?" I ask her.

"No, I'll tell you later." She says and we just sit on the ground for a bit taking in the beautiful sight. "This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." Clarke says and I smile.

"I would have to disagree." I say as she turns around and we kiss. I pull away and stand up. "There's somewhere I would like to show you." I say reaching my hand down to help her up. We walk in the woods for about eight minutes when we come to a small cabin.

"What is this place?" Clarke asks me.

"It is The Commanders' getaway. Every commander has one so he or she can have some peace." I tell her and she smiles.

We enter the cabin and I can see that Clarke is shocked. "Do you like it?" I ask her and all she can do is nod. I walk up to her and grab her hand. She looks at me and smiles. There is a table against the wall, and I had set some freshly cooked meat out for us. We sit down, side by side, and begin to eat. When we are done eating, I lay out some blankets and we snuggle on the floor. "You really have it all." Clarke says. "Now I do." I tell her as I lean down to kiss her.

The kiss is peaceful, but I can sense the want. The kiss heats up as she rolls on top of me. Our lips are moving in sync and soon our bodies were too. I can feel the heat between us, and I can't help myself but to want more. I pull away from the kiss and Clarke looks hurt. "What's wrong?" She asks.

"I don't want to make you do anything you don't want to." I tell her fighting to urge to rip her shirt off. She smiles and kisses me softly.

"There's nothing else I want." She says kissing me again. She takes off her shirt and continues kissing me. I roll on top and she takes off my shirt. I smile and look into her eyes. The heat intense as we continue.

Clarke POV

I wake up cuddled up to Lexa. I smile as I remember last night. I look at Lexa and realize she is awake. "Hi, I didn't know you were awake." I say blushing.

"That's ok." Is all she says before kissing me. We break the kiss and are both smiling.

"Last night was the best night of my life." I say as she kisses my forehead.

We get up and hesitantly get dressed. "Are you hungry Clarke?" Lexa asks.

"Little bit." I answer and we eat the leftover meat from last night. It was silent when I heard something outside. I stop moving and stand up.

"Clarke, what's wrong?" Lexa asks but I hold my hand up and silence her. I grab my sword and open the door. Lexa follows me, armed with her own sword, and we search around the cabin.

"I don't think anyone's here. None of my warriors are allowed to be here." Lexa tells me.

"I heard something." I tell her and I turn around to see scratch marks on the cabin door. Lexa and I just stare at the scratches for a bit then decide to head back to the ark. On the way to the ark I tell Lexa. "Octavia might bug us a bit." I say and she laughs.

Octavia POV

Bellamy, Abby, and Jasper are the only ones who asked where Clarke was. I told them that she was out discussing plans for the winter. Bellamy and Jasper were okay with that answer, but Abby is still mad. I am walking by the gate when I see them walking close to each other. They come into the open and spread out a bit making me smile. They entered the gate and I immediately walked over to them with a smile on my face.

"Did anyone ask where I was?" Clarke asked.

"Yeah, Bellamy, Jasper, and your mom. I told them that you two were discussing winter plans." I tell her.

She nods and smiles. "How did my mom take that?"

"Not too well. My advice would be to avoid her for now." We both laugh and Lexa asks why she would need to avoid her mother.

"My mom and I got into a fight about you and your warriors." Clarke says looking at the ground. "That's why my hand was wrapped. I got mad and punched the wall." She says and we all laugh.
