Lexa POV
"Three, Two...One." Abby counts down, and with that, she yanked out the knife and Octavia quickly covered the gaping hole in Clarkes chest. Abby tries to find a pulse but pulls her hand back and looks at me.
"What are you doing? You can't just let her die." I say worried.
"There's no pulse." Abby tells me and Octavia starts crying.
"Do something!" I yell at her and Octavia pushed Abby out of the way.
"Lexa let go of her leg and hold this on her chest. Hurry!" She tells me.
"What are you going to do?" I ask with tears in my eyes.
"I'm going to try CPR. It has to be worth a shot." She says pushing on Clarkes chest in a rhythm. All of a sudden, she stops and checks for her pulse. She shakes her head and grabs an electrical stick from a guard. She jabs Clarke with it and checks for a pulse again. She sighs and gives me a nod with a smile on her face. I take a deep breath and looked at Abby as angry as I've ever been.
"You are not her mother, you are a traitor, a disgrace. You just stood there while your own daughter's life slipped away!" I yell at her.
"I, I don't know what happened. I just froze." She says and I could see on her face that she truly didn't know what happened. I just shook my head and looked over to Octavia.
"Thank you, I see why Clarke is so close to you." I tell her shaking her hand.
Two and a half days later (Still in Lexa POV)
It has been a little over two days since Abby sedated Clarke and she still hasn't woken up. I am sitting in medical next to Clarke when Octavia walked in. "Lexa, your warriors don't agree with your relationship with Clarke. You need to face them." She said.
"I will deal with them." I sigh standing up.
"You will deal with who?" I hear a weak voice say. I spin around to see Clarke open her eyes and smile.
"Clarke!" Octavia and I say at the same time.
"I'll go get Abby." Octavia says smiling at Clarke. She smiles back and looked at me.
"Hey." She says quietly.
"Hey," I say back. Her smile fades
"They know, don't they?" She asks me and I nod.
"I'm sorry, I know you didn't want anyone to know." She says and I kiss her on the cheek softly.
"I don't care. The only thing that matters is that you're safe." I tell her and we both smile. Her mom walks in and goes right for Clarke.
"Hey, mom." Clarke says as Abby hugs her making her wince. I grab her hand and she smiles at me, god I love her smile.
Abby checks a screen and says, "Your heart rate is high." She says walking over to Clarke. "Try to take a deep breath." She tells Clarke.
"I can't, it hurts." Clarke says tightening her grip on my hand. "How long was I out?" she asks.
"A little over two days." Octavia says.
"O, I'm so sorry." Clarke says looking at her.
"Clarke, it's not your fault." Octavia says moving closer. Clarke smiles at her and winces.
"Clarke, I am putting you on bed rest." Abby says.
"No, I'm fine." Clarke protests wincing as she tries to sit up.
"Clarke, Come on. Octavia will take over for you until you feel better." I tell her and she sighs.
"Fine, but I want updates." She says and we all agree.
