Part 28 - Cages 'Victory'

Lexa POV

I scream as I see the blade dig into her skin. Tears fall down my face as I see her eyes close. Cage looks at me and smiles. "You son of a Bitch!" I Scream at him as he leaves through the door. I hear a click and the door to the room opens. I rush through the door and go straight to Clarke. I grab her hand and start to cry, not caring about my emotions showing. By now everyone is in the room. Abby goes to the other side of Clarke and tries to find a pulse.

"I can't find her vein." She said. I then feel her hand squeeze mine. Her chest starts to rise and fall again, and she slowly opens her eyes.

Clarke POV

My eyes close and I know he's still standing over me. I hear Lexa scream something, but I can't make out what. I heard a door close and feel someone grab my hand. At first, I fear that it is Cage but when I hear Lexa talk, I feel safe. With all the strength I have, I squeeze her hand and attempt to take a deep breath. I can hear everyone sigh and I slowly open my eyes. They are barely open, and it was hard to keep them open. I feel someone taking my restraints off and can see it's Bellamy.

"Clarke." I hear Lexa say and I look at her with a slight smile that disappears from the pain. "Why didn't you just tell him you broke? He would have stopped." Lexa asks me.

"If I broke, he threatened to do this to..... you." I say wincing in pain.

"We need to get her back to camp." I hear my mom say.

"How are we going to get her there?" I hear Lexa ask.

"We can radio Raven to bring us a carrier and your warriors can carry her." Octavia says. And I don't have the strength to keep my eyes open. I start to close them, and I hear Lexa.

"No, Clarke stay with me. Please." The only thing I can do is squeeze her hand.

Raven POV

I'm sitting at a table in the dining area talking to Jasper and Monty when all of a sudden my radio goes off. I jump up and leave the room, Jasper and Monty follow me. "Raven are you there?" I hear through the radio.

"Yes, I'm here."

"We found Clarke, but you need to meet us by the mountain with a carrier as fast as you can." At this point Monty, Jasper, and I are scared.

"What happened?" I ask and all I get back is, "Just hurry, it's bad." Octavia says and I rush to medical to grab a stretcher.

As I leave medical, I run into Finn. "Hey, Raven, where you going with that?" He asks me.

"Um, it's Clarke. I need to get this to the mountain. Clarke is in bad shape and I need to hurry." I tell him.

"Raven, let me help. You can't go out there alone, it's too dangerous." Finn says to me.

"Babe, one of Lexa warriors is coming with. I will be fine." I tell him and he kisses me softly.

"Just be careful."

"Always." I say kissing him back.

I rush to the gate and the Grounder that came with me stood by me. We rush to the mountain and when we get there, Lexa's men were waiting to lead me to them. I walk through the door and I can't believe what I saw. Clarke laying on a table, blood covering her body, burn marks on her face and chest. The thing that made my heart skip a beat was that she had a knife dug into her chest and her eyes were closed. I looked over to Lexa and see that she is holding her hand. I take a deep breath when I realize Clarke is squeezing Lexas hand.

We all get Clarke on the stretcher and Lexas warriors carried her out of the mountain. "Shouldn't we take the knife out?" Bellamy asked. But Abby quickly decided against that.

"We can't. We don't know how close it is to her heart and we won't be able to stop the bleeding." Abby says.

"You need to try and walk as steady as you can. That knife can't move." Octavia says looking at the two warriors caring Clarke. They nod and we head to Camp Jaha.
