I open my eyes and automatically blink at the awry of colors that are spanned out in front of me.

Has Daxton's room always looked like this? His once ordinary room now sparkled, the fairy lights twinkling brightly through out the room.

Plus, the scent. Oh my god, the scent of this room was addicting. It smelt like a mixture of pine, laundry detergent, chocolate, and something sweet, but still so masculine, so Dax.

Dax. Oh dear, I miss him so much. Even the mere thought of him causes my heart to sink. I don't get to see him for a week.

If this is how he feels when ever I am around then I feel bad for him. Wait, Austyn says Dax's feelings are even more intense than mine, how is that even possible?

I groan, throwing myself off of the bed and storming into my own bedroom.

"Adi?" Austyn asks, getting up off of Dax's couch and following me on my rampage.

At this point I was beginning to go on a bit of a tangent. All I want is Dax. I don't want to be a werewolf, I don't want to hear everyone in the house's heartbeats, and I sure as hell didn't want my mate on the opposite side of the world, leaving me to deal with this by myself.

"Adi?" Austyn asks, as I pick up my pillow, going to whip it at my wall. "Hey, woah there." He says, grabbing the pillow out of my arms and restraining me.

"Let me go!" I scream, flailing in his arms. I move my arm, elbowing him swiftly in the rib cage. "Fuck, beta blood against beta blood. I forgot about that." He hisses, causing me to look at him oddly before proceeding with my rampage.

"Adisyn! Stop!" He exclaims. "What? You're beta! Wouldn't you be strong enough to stop me?" I ask, crossing my arms as I stare at him. "Not exactly Adisyn." He sighs. "Ha! So I'm stronger than you?" I snort, walking closer to him and poking his bicep.

"Yes Adisyn. The Luna outweighs every pack member excluding the alpha." He sighs, causing me to smirk. "Now please, calm down alright?" Austyn says, causing me to grown, belly flopping on my bed. "It's 11:30 Adi." He notes, causing my eyes to widen.

"How did I sleep that long." I groan, burying my head in my hands. "You're body was preparing its self for the shift." He explains, carefully occupying the spot beside me on the bed. "Is this going to hurt?" I ask, causing him to nod.

"Only the first time you shift." He explains. "After that it is completely painless." He assures, causing me to groan again. "I want Dax." I sigh. "I know you do, but he isn't here right now. Missing him is just going to make both of you feel worse." He reminds.

"How do my feelings affect him?" I ask indignantly. "How don't your feelings affect him?" He laughs, shaking his head. "You're his mate Adisyn, he feels your pain." Austyn says, as if it was the most obvious thing ever.

"What?" I ask, shooting up in the bed. "Yeah." He says awkwardly, his tone confused. "Daxton feels all of your pain Adisyn. Any negative thoughts, actions, anything." He explains.

"Ever since you first locked eyes he has been hooked to you." He begins. "You made a connection that day that can't ever be severed, it was meant to be this way." He notes. "So, that day I was abused, he felt all of that?" I whisper, automatically feeling bad for putting him through that.

"Yes. He was actually with me when that happened to you." Austyn admits. "What happened?" I ask, sitting up and facing him intently. "Well, Dax was freaking out, of course. You were gone and he had no idea why. His mind was racing to conclusions. He thought that maybe you didn't want him as a mate, or maybe that wolf had come back for you. In his mind you were still in a very fragile state and he didn't want you out of his sight for a second. " He begins.
