Decelis Academy, home for peculiars, monsters, or basically anyone that has tainted blood in their veins. Founded 500 years ago by philanthropist Jacqués Decelis, the school has become one of the most prestigious in the nation, known widely for being a haven of "tainteds" as we call them, which is just a broad term for vampires, lycanthropes, pixies, elves, and anything else of the such. Basically no full-blooded humans. The academy holds day and night classes, though most classes are attended at night, due to the nocturnal nature of so many of the students. I myself am a halfblood, my mother was a vampire, but my father was just a normal human. I never showed any outward traits from my mother, save for slightly-longer-than-average canines, but I was allowed into the school on somewhat of a technicality. That being said, there are a fair amount of halfbloods that attend Decelis, most solely for the educational standards the school holds. My mother attended this academy when she was young, and was quite adamant that I do the same, I'm still not sure why though, even as I enter my sophomore year. It's currently September 28th, year 2231, and if I'm going to be honest, there isn't really much to do at the school at this time of year. Without the threat of exams looming over everyone's shoulders, the students of Decelis tend to busy themselves with more tomfoolery than actual schoolwork, throwing house parties and taking early bets on the Nightball championship game that will be held in a few weeks. I, on the other hand, prefer an ironclad routine. These last few weeks have solely been dedicated to getting my classes planned out for the entire year. My roommate, Julia—everyone calls her Jewel—nags me about it quite frequently, telling me I need to "loosen up" or "de-stress" or whatever she likes to call partying and being flirty with the juniors and seniors. She's the best roommate ever, though; and I specifically asked the school board to keep us together for our entire four years because of it, we get along perfectly, and balance eachother out flawlessly.
Currently, Jewel has her eyes set on Decelis' first ever Junior Nightball captain (as well as school heartthrob) Jay Park. If I'm going to be honest she's had a crush ever since she set eyes on him at our freshmen orientation, and interestingly enough, he seems to have the same amount of interest in her. Because of that, me and Jewel have become quite intertwined with Jay's friend group, an unruly bunch of teens from all four years. Now that I think about it, a brief introduction would be helpful to a reader, and who would I be to spare you of one?
Heeseung Lee, oldest of the group and the only senior. Heeseung is a full-blooded vampire, with rich dark red hair and an alluring smile.
Jay Park is the next oldest of the group, a Junior, and a vampire-lycanthrope hybrid, with a mop of silvery hair that is unruly and wild more often than it is styled.
The next oldest of the bunch—and personally my least favorite— is Jake Sim. Jake, like Heeseung, is a vampire through and through, fashioning longer, slightly wavy black hair that seems to be perfect without him trying. He's also a junior, and has been touted as the school's "academic ace". If the title also meant "professional asshole", I might be inclined to agree with it. Something about him ticks me off, but he seems to be well-liked in the group, so I digress.
Next up is Sunghoon Park, a charming Vampire-elf hybrid, with straight, shiny black hair and an undercut. Sunghoon majors in Business, and because of that, he wears a suit more than he does normal clothes, but maybe that's just a personal preference.
Next is Sunoo Kim, a sophomore like me and Jewel. Sunoo is almost a full-blooded elf, but was given a hint of pixie through his mothers side, which makes his eyes sparkle on occasion, he also dyes his hair a lot, but his current style is a messy blonde, with at least one stand always standing up at the back due to bed head.
Second-to-youngest of the official group is Jungwon Yang, a wily vampire with just a smidge of lycanthrope in his blood, which does nothing outwardly except for making him extremely spastic during a full moon. Jungwon usually keeps his hair black, but Sunoo managed to convince him to dye it cherry red for his sophomore year.

RomantizmIt didn't come as a surprise that Jake showered at Heeseung's, at least not anymore. All of the boys did, save for Sunoo, who complained about the lack of actual shampoo and conditioner. I agree with him. 2-in-1 is an abomination. Heeseung opens hi...
