Save Me

Chapter 13

A few weeks had passed since the day Leilani had brought back Riley's family. A few weeks passed with worry and stress. Leilani had stressed and wondered when the men would attack. How they would do it? Would her child be safe? Her belly had grown significantly but he had yet to make an appearance. Liam tried to keep her on strict bed rest but she wasn't having any of that. So she was 'restricted' to the office for paperwork. Liam and his wolf hated the fact that they couldn't restrict her to bed rest as they wanted.

"My love, how are you feeling?" Lani's blood heated as she heard Fangs guttural question. She looked up at him from under her glasses and smiled. She pushed away from the desk and rubbed her belly. Fang bared his teeth in approval as he walked to her. He sank to his knees in front of her and put his hands against her belly.

"I think he's coming soon. Very soon." Lani said as she ran her fingertips against his cheek.

"Tell him he should stay in there longer." Fang demanded as he nuzzled her belly. Lani breathed out as pleasure assaulted her.

"I can't baby. He won't listen. Stubborn like Daddy." Fang laughed heartily. He stood up and pushed the rolling chair Lani was in all the way back. He felt Lani's breath against his lips as he hovered close. His eyes looked down at those pink lips. He growled as he kissed her so passionately.

Lani whimpered as Fang kissed her hotly. Her wolf was so possesive. She left her hands balled into fists at her side as he rubbed his sent on her. He grabbed her face and pushed up gently to have access at her neck. She hissed in pleasure as he raked his teeth over his mark on her body. He pushed the hem of the blue dress she was wearing high on her body. So he had access to her.

"Put your legs up against my thighs." He ordered and Lani obeyed immediately. Fang growled as he sank his fingers into her and reveled in the loud moans she let out. Gods. She was beautiful. Her face showed pure ecstasy as she finally came, calling his name. He growled loudly. Possessively. Before pulling his pants off and driving into her. Lani screamed out and grabbed a tight hold on his forearms as he drove deeper and faster every time.

"Say my name." He growled. Lani shook her head, asking for mercy.

"Fang!" She pleaded as she came so hard her hips bucked and Fang smiled. Satisfied, he came seconds after her with a loud roar that reverberated off the walls of the office. He sank to his knees and gently laid his head against her potruding belly.

Lani sat there quietly as she ran her fingers through his soft curls.

"That was amazing." Lani smiled, Liam was back with her.

"It was." She chuckled as the baby kicked at Liam's head.

"I don't think my pup likes me." Liam pouted as he rubbed his forehead. How could a male look so adorable and sexy all at once?

"Oh, trust me, he loves you." Lani smiled. She put her legs down as Liam stood up. He pulled his pants up and helped her fix her dress.

"What had brought Fang here?" Leilani asked. Liam helped her stand up and fix her dress as he answered her question.

"We found another camp. No bodies." Lani sighed deeply. That was not good. Their men stayed out days on end searching for something, anything, that would tell them who was out there, how close they were and what their intentions were. But there was always nothing. Not one sign to tell them what was going on. Just a campfire and spots where something or someone had lain on the ground.

Lani opened her mouth to say something as a loud explosion shook the house. People started screaming outside and Lani looked to Liam.

"Go to the hospital. I'm sending Gage and Alex your way. They will keep you safe. And Lani, please stay there." The pleading look in Liam's eyes had Leilani tearing up and nodded at her brave mate. She would do anything and everything for him. But right now she had to keep their pup safe. That was her first priority. She took off right before Liam shed his body to let his wolf through. A huge black wolf that growled menacingly. Lani sent a prayer to her goddess, please let Liam be alright. Please. She couldn't survive without him.

As she stepped out of the office, Gage and Alex were already there waiting for her. She nodded at them and they started walking. Alex in front of her, slightly to the right, and Gage behind her, slightly to the left. Lani felt the hair behind her neck stand on end and she got an uneasy feeling in her belly. Someone was watching her. And they were close. She sniffed the air softly to try and catch the scent of whoever was there, but she didn't get anything.

After finally making their way to the hospital, Lani stopped by the entrance and looked around. She didn't see anything besides the smoke rising from the pack house that had been exploded.

'Everyone is alright, love. Thankfully everyone was at some sort of training session.' Fang whispered in her mind. She caressed both him and Liam mentally and they purred in satisfaction.

'Thank you, sweetie. I needed to know.' She opened her eyes and stepped into the hospital. It was empty. Usually Dr. Frost was rushing about. She should be doing that now considering what was going on outside.

Gage put a hand against her forearm to stop her. She looked at him with worry in her eyes. He knew something was wrong. Alex stepped forward and stood in the foyer, looking around skeptically.

"Dr. Frost?" He called out and silence andswered. He carefully walked down the hall that was lined with rooms. Each room had the door closed to it. Alex opened the first door with caution. Nothing. He shook his head at them and then went to the next room. Before he could fully open the door, someone on the other side grabbed him and pulled him in. There was a loud growl and ruckus as whoever was in there fought with Alex.

Gage and Lani ran forward. Inside the room an older man was holding a bleeding Alex by the throat. The man was tall and muscular. He was wearing a black t-shirt and dark blue jeans but he was barefoot. His skin was an light olive, his hair a reddish brown. And when he turned to look at her, his eerie yellow eyes held so much anger and hatred.

"Paul." Lani said. This was the man who had taken her. The man who had tortured her for years on end. The one who had ruined her family and life.

"My dearest Leilani." His voice was rough. Lani had to concentrate to not flinch at the sound that irritated her hearing. Paul smiled evilly as he reached up with his other hand to break Alex's neck.

"No!" Leilani said and Paul cocked his head in interest.

"Is he one of the mutts who violated my Leilani and got you into the condition you are now?" He growled and Leilani realized something she hadn't before. And she felt so stupid. He was oddly in love with her, thinking she was his mate. How could she never have realized that?!

"No. He was not." Leilani said, playing into his sick mind. "Put him down so we can leave. Call your men off and let us go." She whispered and Gage growled behind her.

'What are you doing?!" Gage demanded through the link.

'Saving my family.' She replied simply.

"Tell me who it was!" Paul roared as he dropped Alex and walked to her. Gage rushed forward to attack, Paul threw him so hard against the wall that Lani thought he was dead. She saw his hand twitch and relief flooded her mind. Paul grabbed her chin in a tight grip. He tilted her head to each side, exposing her neck to look for a bite mark. The mark of her true mate, but the goddess helped her hide those from this man. Just like Leilani had learned to hide the scent of Liam that permeated off her being. She didn't want to get him hurt. Her beautiful Liam.

"Have you any idea how long I've searched for you? I thought you were gone forever." He put his forehead against hers and Lani closed to concentrate on not gagging at the smell of him. Of his skin touching hers.

"I've been hidden well." Was all she whispered. Her eyes snapped open as she felt his hand on her belly. She protectively laid both her hands on her belly

"Whoever did this to you will pay." He stated before grabbing her arm and pulling her with him. Leilani looked back at Gage who was staring at her and a single tear escaped the corner of her eye.

We'll find you. He mouthed and Lani smiled sadly. She hoped to he goddess that they did. She was in one hell of a trip towards torture city. And she wasn't sure she'd survive this time.
