Lani woke up with a start. She grabbed her belly and then stood up to pace around. Her nightmare had felt so real, but she knew it wasn't...it couldn't be. She wasn't in that prison with those assholes anymore, she was free and safe. Nothing could touch her.

She shook her head frantically trying to get the image out. Her whole body was shaking as she kept pacing back and forth.

"Lani?" She didn't pay attention to Liam as he called her name, she was too busy trying to make the nightmare go away. Liam stood up, made his way to her and grabbed her in a tight hug.

"Lani, baby, calm down. I'm here. You're safe. It was just a dream. It was all just a dream." He tried soothing her. She turned her tear smeared face to him.

"It was so real, Liam. So real." He grabbed her face in his hands and looked her in the eyes.

"Leilani, it was all a dream. Those men cannot hurt you. They will never hurt you again if I can help it. Just take a deep breath and focus on the here and now." Leilani took deep breaths, breathing in Liam's scent. She closed her eyes as she told herself repeatedly that she was with Liam. Her nightmare wasn't real and wouldn't be real.

"Thank you." She whispered after a while. She had stopped shaking and her breathing was back to normal.

"Anything for you baby." Liam said as he kissed her forehead. He held her for a while longer before she pushed away to run to the bathroom. She released all the contents of her stomach into the toilet. Liam held her hair back and massaged her back as she rested her head in her hands.

"I hate this part." Lani groaned. Liam helped her up, she flushed the toilet before washing her hands and rinsing her mouth.

"It'll go away. Just give it some time. Now let's get back to bed." Liam flipped off the light and pulled her back to the bed. Lani settled in with Liam behind her and his arms wrapped around her. They fell asleep quickly and Lani's nightmares didn't return.

"Wake uuuuuuuup!" Lani growled and put a pillow over her head as whoever it was screeched into the room.

"Go away!" Lani said and she felt Liam chuckle next to her.

"Jaclyn, if you don't want to die I suggest you don't do that." Liam whispered. Lani pulled the pillow off her face and opened her eyes. Jaclyn was at the foot of the bed in her pjs holding a cup of iced water.

"Oh you better have not been about to pour that on me." Lani said and Jaclyn widened her eyes in feigned innocence.

"Of course not." She smiled and batted her eyelashes. Lani growled and pushed the covers off of get body. She so didn't want to wake up. She wanted to sleep in. All day.

"Wow." She heard Liam whisper and she turned to him, confused. He was only in a pair of black basketball shorts. Lani's mouth watered at the sight he made with his bed head hair. He was so sexy. She noticed he was staring at her stomach so she looked too.

"Aaah!" Lani exclaimed as she put her hands over her swollen belly. It wasn't that big but you could totally tell she was pregnant.

"Babe, I like this look on you. I can't wait until you really start showing." Liam said as he stood up and walked over to her. Lani was starting to freak out a little and Liam wrapped his arms around her. "Everything is okay babe, nothing is going to happen." He assured her.

"I know, Liam. I just can't help but worry." She whispered back to him. Jaclyn walked out of the room to give them some privacy, closing the door behind her. Leilani hugged Liam closer to her and breathed in his scent. It soothed her like nothing else could.
