Rick ran with Carl in his arms as Shane carried Ellie, even though Ellie didn't feel pain it was hard enough to knock her unconscious.
The man named Otis ran not to far behind Shane as they ran through the field, a farmhouse being seen not to far in the distance.
An elder man opened the door to the house as he watched Rick run to the steps with his son in his arms, blood covering his sheriffs uniform and his hands.
"Was he bit?" The man asked Rick, "shot." Rick responded with a cry as they rushed him inside. Not to far back Shane ran with Ellie in his arms as the woman with short brown hair looked at them and helped him inside to an empty bedroom.
Shane laid the unconscious girl on the bed as he left the room, not sparing a glance at the girl he didn't even care about as he went to check on Carl.
The girl called Maggie cut Ellie's shirt and looked for the gunshot wound but only saw blood, a scar was what remained on her stomach.
"What the hell?" Maggie questioned as she wiped away the blood with a rag wondering if it was somewhere else the younger girl got shot.
She found no bullet wound, just blood and a scar.
Ellie's eyes fluttered opened and looked around the foreign room, "Miss, you alright? Were you shot?" Maggie questioned the young girl.
Ellie looked down at her stomach and noticed only a scar before shaking her head, "No, not my blood." Ellie lied to the woman.
"Must've passed out." Ellie shook her head as she sat up, "Are you sure? The boy was shot, the man in the sheriff uniform said it went straight through his son into you."
Ellie shook her head and stood up from the bed and walked into the room where Rick, Shane, and unconscious Carl were.
"How the hell-" Shane questioned as he turned and saw Ellie up and walking with no gunshot wound, he didn't like the girl, something was off about her in his mind.
"Do you have a bathroom, I should clean up." Ellie whispered to Maggie as Maggie nodded and led her to the bathroom down the hall.
Ellie shut the door and leaned against the sink, her hands on either side of it as she looked in the mirror. She grabbed a rag from the cabinet above the toilet and wet it as she wiped the blood from her stomach.
Her only shirt was now cut to above her belly button, almost as if she was wearing a crop top. She sighed and ran a hand through her messy hair.
She opened the door and walked out of the bathroom as she walked outside and sat on the porch on a chair.
"I don't know how you are alive but you were shot, I saw you get shot." Shane spoke as he walked onto the porch glaring at the girl. "Wasn't shot, wasn't my blood, must've passed out or something." Ellie lied returning his glare as she stood up and crossed her arms over her chest.
"I don't know how or what the hell happened but something's off about you." Shane snapped before walking back inside leaving her on the porch alone.

Shane left with Otis to get more medical supplies so that Hershel could help Carl. Maggie went to get Lori on her horse and now the group drove down the dirt road parking in front of the farm house.
Ellie brushed her dirty hair from her face as she stood from where she sat on the railing of the Greene house. The group exited their vehicles and walked up to the steps as they all looked at Rick.
Daryl glanced towards Ellie who leaned against the pillar, his eyes raking her now cropped shirt she was wearing, some blood she must've missed splattered on her right cheek.
"How is he?" Dale spoke first looking at both Rick and Lori, "He'll pull through, thanks to Hershel and his people." Lori nodded looking at Hershel and his family.
"And Shane." Rick looked over at Shane who now had a shaved head, Ellie found it weird how he came back alone and suddenly just shaved his head.
Like he was hiding something.
Dale hugged Rick as Carol went and hugged Lori, Ellie walked down the steps towards the group as Daryl walked up to her and stood beside her.
"The hell happened to yer' shirt?" Daryl grunted looking her up and down before avoiding his eyes and looked back towards the group.
"Wardrobe malfunction." It wasn't a total lie but she decided she'd keep the whole her getting shot and mysteriously healed to herself.

It was Otis' funeral, Ellie stood in the back where Daryl was. She felt as if it wasn't her place to be there, she didn't know the man.
I looked up as Shane told the story of what happened with Otis, something was off about it, Ellie knew it and even Daryl was starting to catch on.
"It was Otis, he saved us both." Shane limped towards Otis' grave as he turned and looked at the group, his eyes almost instantly turning into a glare as his eyes met Ellie.
