Dear Friend,

School has officially started, and I'm feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. Senior year is supposed to be the best year, but there's so much pressure to figure everything out. I've been trying to take it one day at a time, but it's hard not to feel overwhelmed.

The first week has been a blur of classes, homework, and trying to reconnect with friends after the summer. I'm taking a creative writing class this semester, and I'm thrilled! It feels like a safe space to explore my writing and share my work with others. My teacher, Ms. Reynolds, is passionate about literature, and her enthusiasm is contagious.

Jake and I are still going strong. We've been supporting each other through the ups and downs of school, and I love how we can talk about anything. He's been encouraging me to submit my work to more publications, and I'm starting to feel more confident in my writing.

I've also been thinking about my relationship with my parents. They've been supportive, but I can sense their worries about my future. I want to reassure them that I'm working hard and that I have a plan, but it's hard to articulate my dreams when I'm still figuring them out myself.
