Dear Friend,

I can hardly believe that summer is already halfway over! It feels like just yesterday I was walking across the stage at graduation, and now I'm preparing for my next big adventure—college!

This summer has been a mix of relaxation and reflection. I took a part-time job at a local bookstore, which has been a dream come true. Surrounded by shelves filled with stories, I've found inspiration in the pages of countless books. I've also been working on my own writing, trying to cultivate my voice and style. There's something magical about writing in a cozy corner of the bookstore, lost in my thoughts.

I've spent time with Mia and Lila, making sure to cherish our moments together before we all head off in different directions. We had a small farewell gathering last week, where we shared our hopes and fears for the future. It was bittersweet to think about how much we've all changed, but I know our friendships will endure, no matter the distance.

As I prepare for college, I'm filled with a mix of excitement and anxiety. I'm eager to dive into my writing studies, but I can't help but worry about fitting in and finding my place in a new environment. I know that change is a part of life, but the unknown can be daunting.

Yours,
Gracie
