Dear Friend,

As the school year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on everything I've learned and experienced. Graduation is just around the corner, and I can't help but feel a mix of excitement and sadness. I'm ready for the next chapter, but I'll miss the familiarity of high school and the people who have been a part of my journey.

My memoir piece for creative writing class has been well-received, and I'm proud of how it turned out. Sharing my story with others has been empowering, and I hope it inspires my classmates to embrace their own journeys. Writing has become my outlet, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to express myself.

Jake and I are still going strong. We've been talking about our plans for the summer, and I'm excited for the adventures that await us. We both want to make the most of our time together before we head off to college. It's comforting to know that no matter where we end up, we'll always have our memories and our love for writing and music.

Yours,
Gracie
