Dear Friend,
Things have been busy, but I'm finding my rhythm. The creative writing class has been a highlight of my week. We've been experimenting with different styles and genres, and I've discovered a love for poetry. There's something freeing about expressing emotions through verse, and I've been writing more than ever.
Jake has been my biggest supporter. He surprised me with a notebook filled with his own lyrics, encouraging me to write alongside him. It's been a beautiful collaboration, and I love how we inspire each other. We even performed a few of our songs at an open mic night, and the rush of sharing our work with an audience was exhilarating.
Mia and Lila have been busy with their own activities, but we still make time for each other. We had a Halloween party last week, and it was a blast! I dressed up as a witch, complete with a pointy hat and a broomstick. We spent the night dancing, playing games, and enjoying each other's company. It felt like a reminder of the joy that comes from friendship.
As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, I find myself reflecting on the year so far. I'm grateful for the growth I've experienced, both personally and creatively. I'm starting to feel more confident in my writing, and I'm excited to see where it takes me.
