I stretched lazily, pulling my scarf snug around my neck as a big yawn escaped me. Standing up, I glanced at the team. It was nearly our turn.

"Hey, guys!" I called, rubbing my eyes. "When we find Shinso, I'll take him down."

"Okay," Teacup replied casually.

"Actually, Teacup, come with me. I'm feeling... off today," I added, glancing her way.

I turned to Midoriya, lowering my voice. "Monoma could be a problem. Whatever you do, don’t let him copy your quirk. Avoid fighting him at all costs."

Midoriya gulped nervously. "O...okay," he stammered.

“I’ll take the skies, Teacup—you’ll be on the ground,” I instructed.

Midoriya offered strategy advice to the rest of the team. "Ashido-san, your reflexes are amazing. I think you can handle Reiko."

"Leave it to me!" Ashido chimed confidently.

I shot Mineta a flat look. "And Mineta… just, uh, do whatever you want."

He looked like someone had just crushed his dreams.

Sticking to the plan, I launched myself skyward, scanning the area. Shinso was nowhere to be seen, but my attention snagged on Midoriya, who—of course—was already locked in combat with Monoma.

"This guy…" I sighed, descending swiftly.

"Midoriya, go find Shinso. I’ll handle Monoma," I barked.

"But—"

"Go. Now," I snapped. Reluctantly, he turned and sprinted in the opposite direction.

"How flattering that you think I’m a threat," Monoma sneered, his voice dripping with mockery.

I rolled my eyes, unfazed by his theatrics. "I just need to capture him, not defeat him. He can't copy my quirk anyway," I muttered to myself. Then I shouted, "Teacup, handle the ghost girl!"

Blocking a stray pipe with Infinity, I braced myself as both Shinso and Midoriya arrived at the scene.

"Perfect," I groaned internally.

Without wasting time, I charged at Monoma. My exhaustion clawed at me, and my body felt heavier with every move. Suddenly, an unfamiliar sensation surged through me.

Blood manipulation.

My hands lashed out uncontrollably, crimson whips cutting through the air.

"What the hell—?" I muttered, panic rising.

Third POV

“What is happening?” All Might exclaimed, leaning forward in alarm.

“I’m not sure,” Recovery Girl murmured. “Should we intervene?”

“No,” Aizawa said firmly. “They need to learn to handle unexpected situations.”

Akira Gojo POV

The blood whips thrashed wildly. I couldn’t control them.

(Spoiler: Yuji acquired Blood Manipulation by ingesting Death Painting Wombs No. 4-9 in preparation for his battle with Sukuna. Choso and Noritoshi taught Yuji how to use the cursed technique for a month.)

"Shit, shit, shit," I whispered, struggling to regain composure.

Then, I heard a familiar voice.

“Sensei! Gojo-sensei!” Yuji’s voice echoed in my head.

"Control your emotions! It’s dangerous for everyone around you!"

Voices now? Great. Still, I found myself replying. "I… I’m trying!"
