It was a silent dinner no one was talking to anyone because of someone joining them.

" Bhaiya mein kal subh vapas ja rahi hu," Tara said, breaking the silence between them.

( Brother I'm going back tomorrow morning)

" Hmm" He only hummed in response and went back to eat his food.

After finishing their dinner all went to their respective rooms to sleep. Shreyas also retired to his room.

Nayan was still sitting on the bed laughing and scrolling through her phone. He stopped at the door to think where to sleep now as last night he slept in the guest room which is now occupied by his bua, but also now that she is injured she might need his help.

He walked toward the cupboard to grab an extra blanket and took the pillow from the bed. Nayan frowned looking at his action.

" Where are you going to take this pillow and blanket?" she asked, keeping her phone aside.

" On the couch to sleep, " he answered, sitting on the couch and arranging the blanket.

Her lips turned an 'O' in response as she also lay on his bed.

He stood up and moved to turn off the light but when he was turning off the last light she stopped him.

" Stop, Don't turn off that light," she said, voice trembling with a little fear.

" Why? " He asked, looking at her sudden change in appearance.

" I'm scared of the dark, " she said, trying to steady her voice.

" It's fine, I'm not turning it off, you can relax, " he said, leaving the light on and moving to sleep on the couch.

As he closed his eyes Nayan saw him sleeping on the couch uncomfortable.

' How can he sleep on that conch, it's small for his large body . ' she muttered looking at his leg which was hanging on the armrest of the couch.

" Sunoo, " she said, calling him, making him open his eyes and look at the source of the voice.

( Listen )

" Yes, Do you need anything? " he asked, being concerned.

" No, I just wanted to say that .. " she paused, not sure if she should say it or not.
