Shreyas' POV:-

The day went by in a jiffy, though I could t focus much. My mind was preoccupied with my plan to finally ask for forgiveness and set things right. All I wanted was for this day to end so I could put my plan into action.

Currently, Avyansh and I are stuck in a meeting.

"So, the sales for this month have increased by 10% compared to last month's..." one of the employees droned on, ponting the profit ratios. I was half-listening, staring at the presentation when the door suddenly burst open with a loud bang.

"Everyone out!" Dad's booming voice echoed through the room.

The room froze. Everyone turned to see him standing there, his expression stormy. It was rare for Dad to visit the office, and even rarer for him to lose his temper like this. Sensing the urgency in his tone, the employees scrambled to leave without a word, leaving only Avyansh and I in the room.

"Where the fuck are your phone " dad said glaring at us , his glare piercing.

Confused, we exchanged looks and started looking around for our devices. I checked mine-it was off. Shit, did I forget to charge it?

"I didn't know my phone's on silent," Avyansh replied. "Why? What's wrong? Why have you been calling us so much? Is there a problem?" His voice betrayed his growing worry, which in turn made me feel uneasy.

Dad's jaw tightened as he glared at us. "Where is your mother?" he asked, his voice thick with tension.

"She should be at home, Dad," I answered, though doubt crept into my voice.

"She's not. And she hasn't taken her phone with her either," Dad snappe, dropping the bomb that made my stomach sink.

"What?" I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

"I'll call Nayan," I said quickly, trying to think straight.

"She left her phone at home too," Dad growled. "Not just her-Mehek and Tanu's phones are at home as well."

"What?" A new voice startled us from behind. We turned to see Rahul entering the room, looking cocerned.

"What are you doing here, Bhai?" Avyansh asked, his brow furrowed.

"I was passing by and thought I'd surprise you guys. But it seems I'm the one getting surprised," Rahul replied, muttering the last part under his breath.

"What should we do now?" Avyansh asked, trying to steady himself despite the growing panic. "We don't know where they are. How could they all just disappear like this?"

"First, contact the police," Dad ordered, his tone authoritative. "Have them block all the main highways. Not a single person leaves this state until I find my wife."
