Isuna Hoshizora

Appearance:
Isuna has long dark hair and bright, observant eyes. She has a delicate frame and dresses in simple modern clothing, adapting to Seiryuu's customs when needed.

Personality:
Isuna is empathetic, determined, and calm under pressure. Drawn into the world of Seiryuu, she struggles with her growing feelings for Nakago while seeking answers about her mysterious connection to this realm.

Nakago/ Gu Ayuru

Appearance:
Nakago has bright blonde hair, slightly unruly at the top and flowing to his shoulders, with piercing blue eyes that exude cold intensity. His pale complexion adds to his striking, almost ethereal presence. In battle, he wears blue armor, a green dragon claw-shoulder guard, and a blue cape, all symbolizing his power and authority. His look is completed with fitted white pants, a loose long-sleeve shirt, and blue gauntlets.

Personality:
Nakago is a ruthless general driven by revenge, willing to manipulate others to achieve his goals. Initially cold and calculating, he begins to soften through his connection with Isuna Hoshizora, who awakens a side of him he had long buried. As his feelings for her grow, Nakago faces a struggle between his past and his potential for redemption.

Yui Hongo (本郷 唯, Hongō Yui) is the Priestess of Seiryū (Seiryū no Miko).
An intelligent and mature girl, she is a tenth grade student and Miaka Yuki's best friend. A passionate person at heart, she tends to see the world in black and white terms and is easily infuriated with perceived betrayal.

Appearance
Yui has blonde, cropped hair with bangs, pale skin and light blue eyes. In the manga, it is revealed that she once had longer hair but cut it in order to avoid unwanted attention. Her hairstyle changes to a grown-out bob in later chapters/episodes.

Tamahome- (Demon) 鬼

Appearance: Tamahome is a handsome young man with an athletic build. He has tan skin from his childhood in his rural hometown of Hakukou and life as a traveling conman. In the anime, he has dark teal hair and grey eyes while, in the manga, he has black hair and eyes. At the beginning of the series, he wears his teal hair long and ties it back in a low ponytail adorned with red laces

Personality: A loyal and fiercely protective warrior, Tamahome is dedicated to the Suzaku cause. He initially distrusts Isuna but slowly starts to understand her true intentions.

Miaka Yuki

Appearance: Miaka has long brown hair and kind, brown eyes

Personality: Gentle-hearted and optimistic, Miaka is the Suzaku no Miko who serves as the counterpart to Seiryuu. Though she sees Nakago as an enemy, she represents hope and compassion, challenging the darker elements of Seiryuu.
