In the real world, Yui sat at her desk, her thoughts a whirlwind of emotions. She had been grasping at fragments, trying to make sense of the visions she’d experienced—the visions that revealed Miaka’s unexpected journey as the Suzaku no Miko in a strange world. As her mind replayed what she’d seen, Yui’s heart swelled with pride for her friend, but also with an overwhelming sense of worry. Miaka was alone, navigating an ancient prophecy and a world of gods and warriors, her every step shadowed by unknown dangers.

But even as her thoughts circled around Miaka, another concern gnawed at her. Isuna, their other friend, had vanished as well, and Yui hadn’t seen even a trace of her in those strange glimpses into Miaka’s world. Where was she? Was she safe? Could she somehow be lost, hidden somewhere in the depths of that mysterious book?

Determined, Yui reached for The Universe of the Four Gods once again, flipping rapidly through the pages in search of any hint of Isuna’s whereabouts. At first, the book offered nothing but blank pages after the passages recounting Miaka’s arrival in that world. Frustrated but persistent, Yui slowed her pace, examining every inch of the pages as if they might reveal a secret to her careful gaze.

Finally, her eyes caught something. A small, almost invisible strand of hair—a glint of golden-brown and another faintly auburn one. She picked them up, recognizing them as Miaka’s and Isuna’s. Holding the delicate strands in her hand, Yui’s heart skipped a beat. Could these tiny remnants of her friends somehow be the key to bridging their worlds?

Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and concentrated, clutching the strands as if they were a lifeline. “Miaka… Isuna…” she whispered softly, her voice full of desperation and hope. “If there’s any way you can hear me, I’ll find you. I’ll find a way to connect us again, no matter what it takes.”

A strange warmth coursed through her fingers, and for a split second, Yui felt as if a faint energy pulsed from the strands. Her heart raced as she opened her eyes, looking down at the book, hoping for some kind of sign or response. But the pages remained blank, silent, holding their secrets just out of reach.

Still, that small glimmer of warmth reignited her determination. Even if she couldn’t connect with them now, she believed the strands were proof that she was on the right path. Yui knew she had to keep trying, to decipher the mysteries hidden within the book and find a way to help her friends.
As Yui flipped through the middle of The Universe of the Four Gods, she noticed something faintly etched into one of the pages—a name, almost as if it had been written in light and faded over time. Her heart pounded as she leaned in closer. There, in delicate strokes, the name "Isuna" appeared, alongside a brief description.

“Isuna Hoshizora,” it read, “a figure with quiet strength, her dark hair touched with streaks of midnight blue, and a gaze that reflects resilience and grace.” Yui’s hands shook as she read the words, realizing that the book had indeed recorded Isuna’s presence within its world. But there were no details beyond the brief description, no account of where Isuna might be or what had happened to her.

“Oh, Isuna,” Yui murmured softly, tracing her fingers over the name. “If you’re really there... I’ll find a way to reach you. I promise.”

The presence of Isuna’s name fueled Yui’s resolve. She knew now that Miaka wasn’t the only one trapped in this other world; Isuna was somewhere within it too, hidden and alone. With a deep breath, Yui resolved to keep searching, hoping the book would reveal more clues about her friends’ fates. She was determined to connect with them, no matter the challenges, and to find a way to bring them both back.

Sitting back, she whispered once more, “Miaka, Isuna… stay safe. Don’t give up. I’ll find you… somehow.”
