A nonstop beeping wake her from her very deep sleep.

Talk about hangover. Nice one Lea, hindi ka na pabata.

She snatched her beeping phone under the bed and turned off the alarm. Too confused whether she put the alarm or not.

Must be Rona. she thought to herself.

The digital screen says 2 oclock in the afternoon. There's 15 missed calls and 35 messages. She wished for her PA to be here right now. Her head is like breaking in two.

She was about to continue sleeping when another incoming call displayed on screen.

Dawn.

"Dawn.. " she croaked.

"Thank heavens you answered na, I almost report you na sa mga pulis!"

"Oh, so you were the recepients pala of my phone logs."

"Bakit, may ineexpect ka bang ibang tatawag sayo? Besides nag-iba ka na ng number, hindi na niya alam number mo. " Dawn teased.

"Hay nako. Pwede baaa?"

Dawn is laughing on the other side of the line. Lea is still cute to tease.

"O siya, malapit na ko, wait mo ko diyan. Did you change your door pin?"

"No. Just come in. I need a shower. "

"Okay. See you."

Lea was in the bathroom when Dawn came in. A bottle of vodka was still on the table and two shot glasses, one remained untouched.

"Lei! I brought lunch!"

Lea emerged from the bathroom, a bit fresher than last nights scenario. The two women hugged and giggled like teenagers.

"Oh my God, I missed you Dawn!"

"Mee too! Ang busy mo naman kasi eh! Here let's eat first. Antagal ng wakeup call mo, minsan babatukan ko na si Rona, masyado kang inispoil."

"What do you expect, I am her boss, so sa akin susunod yun. " while putting spoonful of kare-kare on her mouth. "God I missed this. "

Dawn is eyeing her friend, she never changed. Same old Lea who is pleased even by very small things. Indeed a humble person despite how big star she is right now.

"Dude, stop staring. You know I hate when someone does that."

"Sorry naman po Madam! Pwedeng nai-star struck lang? I can't believe I am eating now with THE Lea Salonga." Dawn chuckled.

"Ano ba? Stop na. Its just me." she hates it when people talks about her fame.

"Ito naman. Can't I be proud of you for just a moment?" she saw Lea dropped her spoon and about to bark in.

"Dawn.. "

"Okay, okay na. Kain ka na ulit. Change topic na hehe. " lambing nito.

"Which reminds me, you know what, Mr. M called me last night. I am not even out of airport premises take note ha. Ang tindi ng mga galamay niya. And he offered for a comeback."

"Really? Wow. Ano sabi mo?"

"He didn't go into details pero sabi ko pag-iisipan ko muna. From last nights scenario, feeling ko hindi ko na kakayanin ang pressure ng showbiz."

"Try to consider Lei. Sabi nga nila 'do what you love, love what you do'. "

Days have passed and meeting Mr. M came in a blink. Lea is early as usual, 30 minutes ahead of call time. She felt very nostalgic walking at the aisle of Abs again. She cannot remember how many people who greeted her on her way to the conference room.

Her PA Rona was busy on her iPad finalizing last minute sched adjustments when the door burst opened and showed the man she didn't expect to meet today.

God no way.

"Hi Lea."

"Hi Aga."
