"...you sure you'll be fine here alone?"

Gerard breaking her moment of silence, God knows how long she'd been staring blankly at the cityscapes below her window pane.

She decided to stay in her condo alone rather than in their family house since her mom is still in Cebu.

Lea smiled at her brother, he knows her very well.

"Don't worry nga di ba? Ang kulit!"

"Okay, okay. Just don't forget to call Ma tomorrow morning. We know very well the power of social media. Magtatampo yun."

"Of course. Thanks for this Gerard. I owe you big time."

"No. I owe you more. Saka na ko maniningil." he said winking.

"Bye!" she closed her eyes to shut every possible issues that will burst once the sun comes out tomorrow morning.

"Damn. I hope the fridge's loaded." she stood up and went to the kitchen, harassing the fridge of what could possible drink she can date at this hour.

Hmm. Beer not bad.

Her lips almost touched the cold beer when her phone beeped notifying an incoming message.

What the?

Annoyed. She read the message and rolled her eyes in disbelief.

Message: Open up. Im out here.

She went for the door to reveal her assistant Rona. "Seriously? Did Gerard made you come here?" she motioned to her to come in and the latter closed the door.

"Nope. But the blue bird does."

"Oh I almost forgot, of course you're part of his team." says Lea chuckling.

"'Was' past tense. You are my boss now." Rona said and saw the opened can of beer at the table.

"Sana minessage mo ko, I could've brought you something stronger." Rona took her phone and start to type into it.

Lea seeing her PA's actions "Nah. I just need to sleep this off. No need for that." and she snatch Rona's phone and dropped it on the table.

Rona eyeing her boss gave Lea the benefit of the doubt. She isn't paid to negate the queen.

"Okay. I just dropped by for this." Rona took out her white sticky note pad and write something before handing back to her boss.

Lea took it and read what is written.
"You could just text these to me you know?"

"I know. Its just my excuse to see you in flesh. Anong malay ko inedit lang yung picture mo sa Twitter."

"Hoy Rona. Ikaw nagbook ng ticket ko. Huwag kang magpanggap na gulay na gulat ka rin."

Rona smiled. "Welcome back boss. Just change the password once you logged in."

"No need. I trust you naman eh. Thank you for keeping my social media accounts sane."

Ten years ago when she left showbiz, she entrusted her social media accounts to her PA. For the last ten years, people didn't knew that it has been Rona who's been keeping her social media active.

"And thank you po for coming back. Been idle for ten years, nakakabobo magcopy-paste lang. I need some action here."

Lea is laughing at her assistants crazy statement when the door bell rang. Clueless of who it might be visiting her at this hour, she eyed suspiciously as Rona took her beer and threw the cold liquid in the sink smirking.
