“..we just arrived Manila at 18:23 hours. Thank you for flying with us!”

She slowly opened her eyes and loosened her grip on the arm rest she never realized she had been doing ever since the pilot announced an air traffic ahead.

“Damn it!” she whispered. She never hated flying but landing is a different story. Its the feeling of anticipation of whether when will the airplane's wheels will touching the ground.

She fast walk nearly approaching the arrival area, her head down on her phone searching for his name.

She is about to make a call when she saw a very familiar face waving at her.

Oh my.

It has been 10 freaking years since she decided to come back here in Manila. How she missed him.

“Hey! Look at you. Oh my God I have missed you!”

“Me too! I am glad it is now official.” Gerard enveloped his sister in a very tight embrace.

“Kanina ka pa? Sorry, too much traffic sa ere. I mean, even at the immigration ha. Grabe.”

His brother chuckled, “Welcome to the Philippines! More to come!” that made him receive a slap in the arm, she never been a fan of traffic.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw how people starts to recognize her, oh how she hates being on limelight.

“Ge, we should go. Where did you parked?”

Dang! So much for a very bad day, she wished she wore her contacts instead of her reading glasses. She bowed her head and fished something inside her carry-on bag. She decided to wear shades instead.

"Facemask gusto mo?" asked Gerard chuckling at her sister's action. As if the shades could hide her identity. It will only make her look more suspicious.

"Shut up. Just walk." she said and smirked thinking to herself. Shades at 8 oclock pm. Great!

Gerard feeling her sister's discomfort, immediately ushered Lea to his parked car.

They are now enclosed inside the safety of Gerard's car and Lea released a deep sigh she never realized shed been holding since her very first I-don’t-give-a-damn power walk of her life at the arrival gate.

Gerard was eyeing Lea. He knows when her sister needs a minute of complete silence.

Congratulations Lea. No media.

“You.. okay?” he reluctantly asked interrupting her talk with her inner self, and handing her bottled water.

She gladly took it but immediately handed back to his brother.

“Please? And thank you”.

Gerard totally clueless, took the water back then mentally slapped himself laughing.

“Oh. Sorry!” he mentally palmed his forehead.

He opened the bottled water and gave it to her sister. He almost forgot she hated opening bottled drinks. The ridges on the cap burns her skin and she don’t have a strong grip to do it successfully in one try.

“I should've brought your PA today, she knows what to do, she's the expert when it comes to your body language.”

Lea genuinely smiled remembering her very dedicated hardworking PA.
