Alone

Lea watched Aga as he gave Vice and Sarah a side hug.

This will be the first time they see each other again after the impulsive kiss they shared at the hospital.

"Hi." Aga said to her as he crossed the distance and went closer to her at the vanity area.

Lea smiled as she opened her arms to hug him but was surprised that he kissed her instead, that somehow landed at the corner of her lips.

She playfully slapped him in the arm.

"Loko ka. Ang lapit nun."

"Sorry." Aga said sheepishly.

Vice's squeel echoed in the room.

"Huy! Sandaleeee. Nakita ko yun! Kitang-kita ko. Tumama."

"Bakit? Ano yun? Baka pwede i-take 2 mo din Coach Lea, hindi ko nakita." said Luis in curiousity.

Lea was shaking her head furiously.

"Ang sakit na ng lalamunan ko, saglit, pwede ba mag-move on muna, I kenat."

"Hay nako. Kayo talaga. What brings you here ba Aga?" Lea crossed arms changing the subject.

"Hindi kasi ano, dumaan lang ako kasi free time ko. Akala ko may taping pa kayo, eh tapos na pala. Sakto naman nasalubong ko si Luis." Aga explained.

"Eh Coach basang-basa ko eh, Mr. Aga Muhlach in The Voice studio? Alangan namang si Coach Bamboo yung pakay niya di ba? Kaya ayan. Merry Christmas Coach Lea, sorry hindi ko na nabalot." Luis finished as he bade goodbye.

Lea rolled her eyes, these teasing session is too much already.

"Luis, pwede next time sa dressing room ko naman ikaw mag Knock Knock ha. Kahit hindi mo na rin balutin. Eeeeeeh!" Vice giggled as he turn to Aga and slapped his other arm "Ito naman kasi, pupunta ka pala dito, ni wala ka man lang dalang pagkain?! Ano pakilig lang?! Ganun?! "

"Iinvite ko lang sana si Lea magkape, di ba? Okay lang?"

"Wait. I have to check with Rona." Lea said as she type on her phone.

"Papaano naman kami ni Sarah?" Vice pouted.

"Next time promise. I really need to talk to Lea." Aga explained.

"Eh pwede nama-"

"Alone." Aga finished.

Lea raised an eyebrow with Aga's tone dismissing Vice.

Vice was about to react but Lea stopped him.

"Why don't you two go ahead muna." She said sweetly.

The moment the door was closed leaving Aga and Lea completely alone in the dressing room. Lea broke the silence.

"Aga what was that?!"

"No, I was- I'll talk to Vice, that was way out of line." Aga said in frustration.

"You better be. You are acting like a jerk. You know that?"

"Come on Lea, we really need to talk right now. This is important. Please."

"Okay we will talk, but not here. Doon tayo sa condo ko. Alone."

"Come in."

Lea said as she closed the door of her condo.

"Can I?" Aga asked gesturing if he could make a tour inside.

"Help yourself." Lea said as she went to the kitchen of her studio apartment.

Aga walk past the couch and went to the bedroom near the terrace. He was amazed of the cityscapes as the the sun is about to set down.

"You want coffee or-"

"Wine. Thank you." Aga replied as he checks on the bedside table looking for something. "Madalas ka dito?"

"No. I stay here to sleep if the schedule is too tight to manage. Ang hirap umuwi sa Alabang lalo na early call time the next day."

Lea handed him a glass of red wine. And motioned him to sit with her in the couch.

Aga obliged and sat on the other end, as he took a sip.

Lea was watching him through the rim of the wine glass as she took a sip as well.

"So... what's make you cranky today?"

"Lea, we can't do this anymore. You. Me. Together. I- I can't let you cheat with your husband anymore."

Lea bit her lips, feeling the guilt inside.

"Its okay Aga-"

"No, its not okay Lea! Do you even consider what your husband would feel if he-"

"No Aga- there is no husband! I am not married!"

Aga was speechless.

Lea sighed and started to explain.

"You left me no choice, you were cornering me that day. I've been planning take it back but the circumstances doesn't allow me to- rehearsals, the concert, me getting sick. Andaming wrong timing kasi."

She looked at Aga and was stunned that he was chuckling.

"Sabi ko na eh!" Aga exclaimed.

"Wait. You mean, you knew all along?"

"Hindi. Sort of. Or hindi ko lang siguro  tanggap pa. Kasi maliban sa wala naman news na kinasal. Dun pa lang sa naospital ka, ni hindi ka man lang pinuntahan. Kahit saang lupalop ka pa ng mundo, pag may sakit ang asawa mo pupuntahan mo yan. And lastly, napaka tapat mong tao, hinding hindi mo magagawang manlalake. Imposible talaga."

"Oh...thank you for the compliment. You are not mad?"

"Kailan ba ko nagalit sayo Lea? Hindi ko magagawa yun. Hindi ko lang maintindihan ung nararamdaman ko ngayon, pakiramdam ko nabunutan ako ng tinik. Akala ko kasi.. Willing na ko maging kabit basta ikaw eh. Pakiramdam ko kinokonsinte kita."

"I'm sorry Ags."

"Kaya pala hindi mo ko pinigilan nung nasa ospital tayo."

Lea scrunched her nose and playfully slapped his face. Aga caught her hand and hold it tight.

"So.. that leaves us where now Lei?"

She bit her lip trying to find the right response.

"Lea.."

"Hmm?"

"Stop biting you lip. That's my job."
