Lea was trying to control her breathing. She sat there on the passenger seat thinking.

This could be completely random Lea.

She assures herself. But her instincts tells her otherwise.

Her eyes dropped on the center console and opened it. She doesn't know what exactly she is looking for. She didn't saw anything suspicious since mostly inside were gas receipts, but she still checks anyway.

She closed it and decided to peek at the backseat, there at the floor she saw a folded white paper.

Screw it.

Lea reached for it and opened it. It was a receipt from a flower shop in Batangas.

"Sunflowers. He bought her sunflowers?" Lea bitterly chuckled.

Then she checks the other receipt and her face faltered.

It was a receipt accommodation at the Club Punta Fuego, Nasugbu, Batangas.

Check in date. Tomorrow. Lea sighed and closed her eyes

It could be a surprise for you Lea. Calm down.

--

Lea went back inside and drop the keys on the bar counter where Aga is almost done eating.

"Mmm. Ang tagal mo?" He inquired.

Lea didn't look at him and decided to busy herself, she can't face him right now.

"Ano kasi- nahulog ung isang earpiece hinalungkat ko pa sa loob. Gusto mo coffee?" Lea said as she opens the cupboard and rummages through for cups.

"Sure." Aga replies as she eyed Lea in her kitchen as she tiptoed while rummaging his cupboards. She's wearing white shirt, khaki shorts and flat nude sandals.

He still can't believe that they will be in this situation after every misfortunes happened to them. What a lucky bastard he is.

"Dahan-dahan lang sa pagtitig..." Lea handed him the coffee as she leans at the bar counter "...baka matunaw ako. Bigla ako mawala."

Silence.

"Lea.. Pakasal na tayo." Aga said.

Lea faced Aga and looked him in the eye.

Calm down. Calm down.

"Sigurado ka ba? Maglinis ka kaya muna ng kalat mo. Saka mo ko ayain ulit." Lea replied nonchalantly.

Aga was confused, he looked at his sorroundings and it doesn't look messy at all.

"San ka pala galing nung makalawa? Sabi mo pa South ka." Lea asked changing the subject.

"Makalawa..? Ahhh oo. Sa Batangas nagpasama ako kay Yani, may inocular lang kaming property doon." Aga chuckled.

Liar.

"Talaga? Saan sa Batangas?" Lea inquired.

"Lipa."

Gago.

Lea inhaled deeply to calm her nerves.

"Aga, bukas dinner out naman tayo. Or kung sickly ka pa lets have it here na lang, ipagluluto kita." Lea eyed Aga for any reaction.

"Uhh.. Bukas? Hindi ako pwede bukas, may taping ako nun eh, baka abutin ng overnight. The next day na lang."

Lea's blood is literally boiling, she needs to get away before she does something she will regret later.

"Umm. I think I have to go." Lea stood up and checked her phone.

"Alis ka na agad, kakarating mo lang ah?" Aga whined in disappointment.

"Baka kasi matraffic ako, magagalit yun si Dawn." Lea managed to say without faltering.

"O-kay sige, pero ingat sa pagdrive ha." Aga said as he leaned down to kiss her.

Lea instinctively pulled away.

Aga was surprised.

"Grabe, makaiwas naman kala mo may COVID ako."

Lea hugged Aga instead as her tears starts to threaten to break free.

"Please huwag mo na ko ihatid sa gate. Take a rest na okay?" Lea whispered as she bit her lip to stop from quivering.

"Sure ka?"

Lea pulled away and bowed her head as she nods and walked away and left Aga standing there utterly confused of Lea's sudden change of mood.

--

The moment Lea closed the door of her car, the dam broke down. She angrily wiped her tears as she starts the engine. She needs to get away. Anywhere far from here.

Her tears clouding her eyes as she stopped in an intersection on red light.

She took her phone and dialed Dawn.

"Yes my dear-"

"Dawn.." Lea whimpered.

"Lea? What happened? Are you- are you crying?"

"C-can we.. Can we meet somewhere nearer? I can't.. I am not sure if I can drive now."

"Where are you?! Stay right there. I'm coming."

--

"Here." Dawn handed Lea a glass of water.

Lea had been crying the entire ride to her condo in Quezon City.

"I asked pala Rona to get your car and drive it here."

"Lea.." Dawn said again and held her hands.

"He's cheating on me Dawn."

"Aga? Papano.. How?" Dawn was shocked.

"Remember, the perfume in his jacket? I saw a hanky on his car today, the scent, its the same. At first I thought I was just too paranoid, then I saw receipts from flower shop and hotel accomodation in Batangas dated on the same day he had a roadtrip with Bayani."

"Did you confronted him about it? Maybe you just read too much into it kasi may pagdududa ka na." Dawn asked.

"I didn't mentioned anything about the scent, even the receipts. I just asked about his trip with Bayani. The nerve. He said they went to Lipa. Kelan pa nalipat ang Punta Fuego sa Lipa? Gago siya." Lea snapped as she angrily wiped another tear.

Dawn felt bad for Lea, she really is hurting right now. She remembers how she crashed into her the moment she came to get her side parked on the road.

"Shhhh.. its okay Lei, I am here. I will stay right here with you. Okay?"

Tangina ka Aga. Anong ginawa mo? Dawn thought to herself.
