"-He's having a post-traumatic amnesia."

Arlene shooks her head in disbelief.

"Doc, paanong- paanong may amnesia, alam niyang siya si Aga di ba?"

"Yes but its a possibility nakuha niya itong impormasyon during his coma days, its his first memory after the accident. The talk helps a lot with his brain activity, he may not be responding but his subconcious absorbs it. Maybe he hears you call him Aga all the time so that memory somehow sinked in there."

"Anong gagawin natin after nito? Its a good thing na nagising na siya, what's our next step?"

"We will be conducting memory assessment so we could determine the extent of memory loss. So far kanina when I asked him, hindi niya alam kung sino talaga siya. Kung anong taon ngayon, hindi niya alam. Pati na rin kung bakit siya nasa ospital ngayon. In terms of reflexes, I think there's nothing to worry about."

Arlene can no longer take it, she sat on the chair and buried her face with his face.

"This will help find the best treatment. To find out whether there is any physical damage or brain abnormality, I will order an MRI, CAT scan for the patient."

"Of course Doc, anything that could help my brother."

"Family support is also crucial. Showing him photographs of past events, exposing him to familiar smells, and playing familiar music may help. It could be just temporary, don't give up on him."

"No Doc, we won't! I mean, ang hirap lang iabsorb ng mga nangyayari. Akala ko kasi once gising na siya okay na. Hindi ko naisip yung possible complications ng head injury niya. Pasensiya na, medyo hindi ko lang inaasahan talaga."

"We will do our best. There are therapies to help them recall lost memories. For the mean time, lets start with talking to him. Kausapin nyo siya na normal lang, refrain from asking questions kung naaalala nya ba. Mas okay kung siya ang magtatanong. Baka may mga ma recall siya from the past, that could be a good start."

"Yes po Doc. Thank you po."

Lea stepped in the room to see Aga alone, holding his phone in hand, looking intently on the screen lock.

"Ags.." Lea sobs as she walked closer to his bed.

Aga smiled at her. Lea was about to hug him when he spoke.

"It's you! The girl in my dreams."

Lea's face faltered in confusion.

What is happening?

"Kasing ganda mo pala yung boses mo. Alam mo, lagi lang kita naririnig kumanta, kaya lang hindi mo lagi natatapos yung kanta kasi umiiyak ka na. Akala ko talaga panaginip ka lang, totoo ka pala." Aga beamed at Lea.

Arlene came inside the room wiping a tear, she witnessed the interaction between the two.

"Ah- Aga, nameet mo na pala si Lea."

Lea looked at Arlene in confusion.

Arlene's face shows it all.

Amnesia.

"Lea.."

Lea looked back at Aga smiling at her.

"Lea.. Ang ganda ng pangalan mo, kasing ganda mo at ng boses mo. " Aga said sheepishly.

"Thank you.." Lea smiled back.

Aga diverts back his gaze in the phone on his hands.

Lea followed his gaze on the opened screen of his phone.

"Let me. " Lea said as she offered to unlock his phone.

"Wow. Thank you. Alam mo passcode ng phone ko? We must be really close then." Aga chuckled.

Lea looked at Arlene and she just gave her a reassurring smile.

"Wait- are you my wife?"

Lea was surprised with the sudden question from Aga.

"Ha?!"

"You're my backgound photo on my phone." Aga said as he shows the screen of his phone.

It was her photo taken during their dinner with the gang.

Lea was hesitant to feed Aga too much information while he just woke up from coma. But lying would not do any good to his full recovery.

"Umm.. not your wife Ags. Just girlfriend."

Aga looked shocked.

"Really? Sa ganda mong yan hindi pa kita pinapakasalan? Oh. Don't tell me I am married to someone else."

Lea bit her lip, no longer comfortable with the awkward feeling talking this topic with Aga while her sister is just in the room with them.

"Ags.. Ang daldal mo." Arlene butted in. "Ah Lea kumain ka na ba? Gusto mo sabay na tayo mag dinner." Arlened offered.

"Teka, iiwan nyo ko dito mag-isa? Paano kung may mangyari sa akin. Iiyak na naman si Lea niyan. Ayoko. Dito lang siya."

Lea doesn't know what to feel on Aga's weird personality. The Aga he knows would be mad and will insist on her taking dinner first.

"Alam mo, feeling ko napasama yung pag-opera sa utak mo Aga. Hindi bagay sayo masyadong clingy. Isang oras lang kaming mawawala." Arlene explained.

Aga grabbed Lea's hand and held it tight as he can.

"Stay. Huwag mo kong iwan. Please?"

Lea stared at his eyes as a tear fell from her eyes.

"Never."
