Bodyguard

"Goodmorning." Lea drop a kiss on her mom's temple.

Its a rare encounter to have breakfast together with her mom because of her schedule.

"Mmm! Kain na. Ano oras ka dumating kagabi? Akala ko dun ka sa condo mo matutulog."

"Thanks Ma."

Lea said as she took a sip of coffee.

"Afterlunch pa dapat call time ko eh kaso may biglaang meeting. Which reminds me, asan na ba si Rona?"

Lea checks her phone as the maid approached them in the dining.

"Excuse me po Ma'am Lea, si Sir Aga po nandiyan, hinahanap po kayo."

Lea was a bit clueless why Aga pays a visit at their home unannounced- even too early for his vocabulary.

Ok. That's weird.

"What- s-sige Manang papasukin mo dito."

"Napaka-Aga naman umakyat ng ligaw niyan si- Aga, intsik ba yan?" teased her mom.

"Ma.." Lea restraint.

"Kailan nyo balak magpakasal?"

Lea got surprised which led to the hot coffee to burn her tongue.

"Shit!" she took a napkin and wiped her mouth. "Ma naman! Pwede sagutin ko muna? Hindi pa nga kami, kasal na agad nasa isip nyo."

"O e di sagutin mo na ngayon, tapos kasalan na. Hindi ka pa ba sigurado diyan kay Aga? Aba Lea, tumatanda ka na, gamitin mo naman yang bahay-bata mo, nag-eexpired yan baka akala mo."

"Ma. Ako na naman nakita nyo. " Lea snapped.

"Oh eh bakit? May iba pa bang tao dito? Sige papasukin mo si Aga dito, ako na mismo magsasabi na buntisin ka na. Aba, overdue na ko sa apo. Kailan pa ba ha Lea."

"Maaa pwede ba???"

"Good morning po Tita. Umm.. Hi Lea." said Aga as he walks in the dining hall.

"Nagbreakfast ka na ba Aga? Sobrang aga mo yata." asked Ligaya.

"Okay lang po Tita, susunduin ko lang po sana si Lea." Aga replied as he rubs his palm on the back of his neck.

"Susunduin? Where's Rona?" Lea inquired.

"Ahm.. Nauna na siya sa ABS, sabi ko ako na susundo sayo dito."

"Anong meron? Kilala kita Aga. What's the catch?" Lea asked him as she raise one brow.

"Ha? Wala lang. Hindi kasi ano- free time ko today. Naisip ko since wala naman ako gagawin today, baka need mo ng help or maybe I'll just join you sa studio, in case. I-If okay lang?"

Lea was deciphering what is Aga's real intention.

"Why? I have Rona naman, may PA ako Ags, you don't have to-"

"Bodyguard. Di ba- I can be your bodyguard... for the day. Sige na." Aga insisted.

Lea was looking at him too confused.

"Hay nako. Umalis na nga kayo. Ka-stress kayong panoorin. At ikaw Lea, minsan ang slow mo rin eh. " Mommy Ligaya butted in as she stood up and left them in the dining area.

"Bodyguard ha." Lea teased as they were enclosed inside Aga's car.

"Bakit ayaw mo? Ang gwapo ng bodyguard mo kung tutuusin." Aga chuckled as he carefully swerved the car to the main road.

"Ags.. If this is part of your courting process, you don't have to do this. Hindi mo na ko kailangang pakiligin. I think we've already established the attraction naman di ba after what happened sa condo ko."

Lea was fidgeting as she look away, feeling awkward. They haven't talked about it in person.

"Lei di ba sabi ko liligawan kita. Please allow me to properly do it because you deserve it. Syempre gusto ko gawin sayo yung mga hindi ko nagawa noon, ung sobrang pinanghinayangan ko. Oh, shoot traffic ata.."

Aga checked on his phone for possible cause of the traffic. When Lea's phone beeped.

It was Rona calling.

"Yes Rona."

"Ms. Lea on the way na ba kayo?"

"Yes. Aga is with me. Skyway na kami. "

"Umm. Ms. Lea, cancelled po kasi yung meeting, moved din yung rehearsal since coincide yung meeting sa magiging flow sa rehearsal."

"What? My gosh. Okay sige. Uwi ka na lang, since wala naman na schedule today. I will see you tomorrow. Thanks Rona. Bye."

Lea dropped her phone and massaged her temple as she closed her eyes and leaned back to rest her head.

"Why, what happened?"

"My entire schedule for the day just cancelled. Great."

"Edi ayos pala, tara road trip na lang tayo gusto mo?" Aga suggested.

"San mo naman ako dadalhin?"

"Sa langit."

Lea slapped Aga on his shoulder.

"Paka manyak mo." Lea sat up properly, Aga's statement made her feel funny inside.

"Kung manyak ako matagal na kitang dinala doon." Aga chuckled.

"Let's go somewhere quiet."

"Sa kwarto ko, mas tahimik pa sa simbahan."

"Ags, naman eh."

"Hindi joke lang. How bout sa Tagaytay, para malamig, tapos magpapayakap ka sa akin."

"Ang kapal ha. Hindi ba maraming tao dun, baka dumugin lang tayo."

"Not naman sa Crosswinds, medyo secluded dun, marami din kainan. Ano okay sayo?"

"Okay lang. Yung crowd lang naman kasi inaalala ko talaga."

"Don't worry may kasama kang bodyguard di ba? I will guard your body from them." said Aga as he playfully winked.

A naughty idea came to her mind so Lea bit her lip and smiled. She placed a hand on Aga's mid thigh making him flinch and stiffened in the process.

"How sweet of you. Eh, who will guard naman my body from you?" Lea seductively whispered on his ear.

"Jesus Christ." Aga cursed. "Not fair Lei, I am driving here."

"Then drive. Drive the car while I drive you? How's that?"

Lea's hand went higher on his thighs and he snatched it away before it lands on somewhere not appropriate.

Lea giggled clearly enjoying their teasing game.

"Ags, your ears! Super red na oh my." Lea sat back on the passenger's chair giggling.

"Grabe ka talaga magpasakit ng puson Lea, akala mo ba madali para sa akin magdrive na amoy ko sa buong kotse yung pabango mo. Tapos.. Hay."

Aga shifted on his seat trying to compose himself. Trying not to think with his other head.

"You know what Ags, I could help you with that. Para hindi lang puro microphone hinahawakan ko di ba?"

"Damn you Lea. Huwag na tayo sa Tagaytay. Byaheng langit na to!"
