LIII- What's going on?

Freen's POV

The days were moving very slowly that it was driving me insane. The continuous meeting were not helping as well. I had a hope that I would be able to complete the works early and leave. But contrary to that, everything was lagging and it may take one or two days more.

I came outside for a break and checked the time. 2:30. It must be 2:30 AM at home. I hate this the most. The 12 hour difference. When I am awake, she will be sleeping. And when she is awake, it will be my time to sleep! I groaned and started checking the messages. There were quite a few. But the pinned chat makes me happy. My Baby!

"Must be someone special!!" -- Someone stood closer to me and said, startling me! I turned around. Emily Clarkson! The shareholder of our company. I tried to smile.

"I was thinking, if you have no plans, can we go for dinner together?" -- She looked at me expectantly. She is beautiful.. with an enchanting personality. I gave her a nervous smile, by pressing my hand over the bluish red mark on my chest, just above my heart!

"Ahem... I'm sorry.. I can't.. " --

"Oh! It's okay... I just thought.... " -- She tried to say and I interrupted.

"I need to rest... still getting used to the time zone.. " -- I explained.

I took my phone once again and opened the contact. I can't resist. I know it's early morning.. But I need to hear her..

"Hey..... all Okay?" -- She attended after some rings. Her sleepy voice..

"Yeah... I just needed to hear you..."-- I said apologetically..

I could hear clothes rustling on the other end. I closed my eyes. I can picture it clearly. The way she shifts on the bed, pulling the comforter. How I wish I were there.. holding her close to me!

"Seems like my Bunny is missing her girlfriend..." -- I can feel her smile!

"Too much...that you can't even imagine..." -- I whispered.

"I love you babe... so much...." -- She said after some seconds and I smiled genuinely.

"I love you too Princess.... Too much...that it hurts...." -- I whispered and closed my eyes, heaving a deep sigh.

Becky's POV

I did not even think that I would miss her this much when she was going to New York. Mom had promised me that they will arrange for her to return early. But seems like it will take more time than expected.

"Mom... But you said that she will be coming soon..." -- I whined over the video call.

"I know darling.. we are sorry that she is taking more time than expected. It's not her. There is some issues to be settled with the investors..and it will be solved soon.. " -- Mom explained, but still I am not happy.

"We are sorry that she had to go soon after you both made up... But we will make sure that she won't be getting any foreign trip anytime soon..." -- She said to convince and comfort me again.

"Why are you so eager baby? Is something being planned? Any good news... ?" -- Mom asked and I smiled nervously. Why did I make the video call?

"Give here... Let me talk to her..." -- My mom took phone from my hand and gave a wide smile to mom.

"The mother-in-law and mother will ruin your surprise it seems kiddo!" -- Richie teased. I had come for family dinner and would be staying there that night after a long while.
