Becky's POV

"Go Beck.... Go get her....." -- Jane caressed my cheeks and I turned around.. and ran to the entrance.

Where did she go?

Then I noticed Heng standing in front of his car confused and staring at a taxi which is speeding away. I ran to him and almost tripped but Heng helped me to stand properly.

"Bec...Becky... What are you doing here??" -- He asked and I glared at him. -- "Where is she going to Heng??"

"She?? What are you saying Becky?" -- He acted so badly, making me angry..

"Stop the act Heng. I saw her. Freen. Now tell me... Where the hell has she gone to?" -- I tapped his chest and asked with a glare.

"I.... I don't know... She left me.. Got into a taxi and went..." -- He stuttered.

"Drive then... Take me to where she is..." -- I opened his passenger seat, sat and put the seat belt on and waited for him to sit and start the car. He looked at me in disbelief and made a call. After ending the call, he got into the car and silently drove.

The car stopped in front of the mansion and I stepped out. Heng looked at me for a moment and whispered an 'All the best' and drove away.

The elder Chankimhas were in the living room and it seemed like they expected my visit. There was no surprise on their faces. They pointed upstairs and I walked to the stairs.

I stood silently in front of the huge door and without asking for permission, entered the room. The blue hue of the evening had made the room darker and I could see Freen sitting on the couch near the window. I closed the door and she turned to look at the door and suddenly stood up.

"Stop running now Freen... I will chase you to the end of the world if needed.." -- I said and she stood there. Unmoving.

I took slow steps towards her, staring at her. She was not looking at me at all. Finally I stood facing her, stepping into her personal space. I could hear her rapid breathing and my own heart was beating so loud that I felt like it would break my rib cage and escape.

"Why did you run Freen?" -- I asked and waited for an answer. There was none.

"Where were you? Where were you all these while? Why did you do that Freen?" -- I cupped her cheeks and tears wet my palms and rolled down.. She looked so fragile and broken, that it did hurt me.

I could feel her shivering under my touch and I took one more step and she took one step back. I took one step and I heard a faint voice .. -- "Please Becky... Don't..."

"What if I do?" -- I asked and took one more step closer daringly and was startled the way Freen enveloped me in a very tight hug, that made me lose my balance for a second. After that I held her closer to me tightly...letting her to pour her emotions out.
