FALLING FOR YOU ..

VII - Misunderstood!

"She did what?" -- Kade almost shouted catching the attention of other people in the restaurant.

"She met Becky in the washroom and commented on her scene with Nop sarcastically!" -- Noey replied calmly. They were in their usual hangout place. Noey, Nam and Kade. Freen sat glaring at others.

"Why did you even do that Fuzzy? You never do things like that!" -- Kade slapped on Freen's palm. Who still didn't care to reply.

"How do you know this Noey? We will never hear such news from Freen anyway." -- Nam, who was quiet all these while, asked.

"Irin told me. You guys know that we are dating for a while, right! She is Becky's closest friend. Becky told her about this washroom incident. And Irin told me as she knows that Freen is my friend." -- Noey explained in a breath.

"What were you thinking Freen? Why did you say that? Irin mentioned that Becky is so upset now. She was already upset about Nop and you worsened the case?" -- Noey looked at Freen for an answer. She was just twirling her wine glass.

"Enough Fuzzy... Tell us what happened?" - Nam took the glass from her and kept it on the table.

"Why would she get upset? I just commented on her and her boyfriend? Are they fighting now? Is that why it's an issue now?" -- Freen looked at her friends.

"Boyfriend? Which boyfriend? What are you talking about Freen?" - Kade glared at Freen.

Kade runs a beauty products company in Thailand and she is familiar with the juicy gossips from entertainment field.

"Nop is not Becky's boyfriend Freen. Becky doesn't even like him." -- Nam said patiently.

"But I saw all the pictures and videos on them.." -- Freen blurted out.

"You mean you were stalking her online? And you believed all those gossip columns?" -- Kade asked.

"Why does it concern you about her boyfriends? Why did you pull such a scene in washroom".-- Nam faced Freen directly. Freen knows that Nam can read her without her words. She just slumped her shoulders and sighed.

"I knew it the moment you looked at her that day. Your flushed face and frozen look. You are attracted to her Freen. Just admit it." -- Nam said. Freen was not able to look at her in the eyes.

"I don't think after today's incident, Becky may even be ready to be Fuzzy's friend." -- Kade commenced loudly.

"Becky has never dated anyone yet. Richie, her brother told me when we met." - Noey continued.

Freen's POV

"Becky has never dated anyone yet. Richie, her brother, told me when we met." -- Noey's words echoed in my ears.

I didn't know what to say. So it was a misunderstanding? But how could it be? I saw them with my eyes.!

Flashback

I couldn't contain my restlessness and decided to visit the location. I had just arrived and Becky came out of the dressing room. The long white dress made her look like an angel. I knew that I was staring and she turned to look at me and went back to her chit-chat.

I could feel my uneasiness increasing by seconds when Nop stood close to her. Tightening his arms around her. I watched with anger. He pressed himself to her back. His fingers covering her palms over her stomach. His face pressed to her hair.

I just sat in the producer's chair. My heart raced. Jealousy burned in my eyes and throat. I wish I could tear his hands off of her. I could see him talking in her ear. What is he saying? What are they planning? -- It startled me when he pressed his lips on her's.

I followed her to the washroom. She was washing her face.

"That was quite a scene! Looked so natural. I guess you are so familiar with him!" -- words escaped from my mouth before I could stop it.

I could see the anger in her gaze. she came closer to me. Judging me with her looks, she stood where I could feel the warmth emanating from her body.

"Watch what you say. Being a producer doesn't make you so powerful that you can say whatever you want." -- Her words cut through me. I froze there. Unable to move.

I don't want to be just a producer. I want more. And I want her to know that.

"Hey stupid... What are you thinking about?" -- I got brought back to the current discussion.

"I think you should apologize to Becky. What you did was wrong." Noey suggested. I didn't reply. But I know, I have to mend what I destroyed.

I should meet her. I should meet Becky.
