Becky's POV

Waking up in her arms is the best feeling in the world for me, but I wasn't so lucky today morning. I searched for her on the bed with closed eyes and then opened to see that I am alone in the room.

"Hey... How do you feel now?" -- mom came and gave me a hug when she saw me walking down the stairs. Freen was nowhere to be found and I felt disappointed.

Nothing went as I planned and I did not even get to talk to her or even be with her properly after missing her for a long time.

"Bunny went outside in the morning... She told me to take care of you till she be back.." -- mom made me sit and started serving food for me. I was actually hungry.

"No need to wait for her. She said she might be a bit late.." -- mom told me when I hesitated to start.

Where must have she gone?! That too in the morning itself?!

Third Person's POV

Becky was restless. It was past midnight and Freen wasn't home yet. There were no calls or messages. She asked all her friends and no-one knew where she went. Even Richie was not available too. Mr and Mrs Armstrong called her in between to check whether she was fine.

Finally she dosed off and woke up startled when an arm pulled her closer and buried the face on her chest!

"Shhh.. baby! It's me...." -- The hands tightened around her when she wiggled to move away.

Freen had taken bath and she smelled of shampoo and soap. But there was some other smell and Becky inhaled deeply to understand... Alcohol!!

Becky tried to pull her face up, but Freen stubbornly glued closer to her chest.

"Freen.... Are you drunk?" -- Becky asked softly and Freen hummed in reply. -- "I'm sorry baby... I am so tired... and ..." -- Her words slurred and Becky sighed deeply. She held her close to her chest and tried to sleep again. She could hear soft snores from Freen.

Freen woke up to someone staring at her and she opened her eyes to see Becky sitting on the bed, staring at her.

"Good morning my baby....." -- She said with a sweet smile and Becky frowned.

"Why is my baby grumpy in the morning itself? Is it about yesterday? I will make up for that... I promise.... please...." -- Freen showed her puppy eyes, but the younger girl did not melt like usual, instead she showed her iPad in front of Freen to read the news headline...

THE YOUNG ACTOR NOP KANPIANG WAS FOUND ON THE ROAD IN A CRITICAL CONDITION

Becky shifted the iPad before Freen could finish reading. She had a stupid smirk on her face and Becky scoffed to see that.

"Don't you think he deserves that baby? If you ask me, you are lucky that you came safe after the accident.." -- Freen removed the comforter from over her and sat, resting her head on the headboard by leaning on it.
