"After you I'll probably never love again. This kind of heartbreak don't never end."
Kelly's POV
"Aye yo." A faint voice rocked me from my slumber. "Kelly! You got to get up." The voice now felt like it was hovering over me. "Mhhhum." I let out a grunt taking that blanket over my head. My phone had begun vibrating against the coffee table. "Kelly it's been three weeks. You have to answer her." My long time friend had bugged me.
Giselle and I had broken up. Well I broke up with her, kind of. Since that night I hadn't talk to her or seen her, no seriously like at all. For the couple of days I couldn't even bring myself to drive down the block. I guess out of fear of seeing her. My anxiety quickly turned into anger. Why should I feel embarrassed? She was the one who had betray our trust. So Ive been taking my time moving my things out. I know her schedule like the back of my hand. Well at least I thought I did. With that I've slowly been moving my things out. What comes with that is the frequenting calls. I'm assuming with her noticing my things slowly disappearing. The reality of the fact is setting in: I'm done.
"Hello." I heard a voice say annoyed. Ripping the covers off I instantly locked eyes with Michelle. A look of irritation flushed me. "Put the phone down." I mouthed to her. "Yeah she's right here." She grinned a little bit. Coming to my feet quickly I tried to take the cellular device from her. Michelle created distance by holding her arm between us. Out of all the times to play, why now?
"Well Giselle I don't think she wants to speak with you." Michelle backed around the coffee table moving further away from me. "Michelle hang up." I whispered aggressively. She flipped her lips in holding back a slight grin. I could hear Giselles voice but I wasn't close enough to make out anything. "I know but she came to me, and she's been here for over a week." I could tell Bey was getting frustrated.
"I- listen Giselle. I'm a friend to both of you." Michelle was trying to get the words out. Bey doesn't usually get hot tempered but when I comes to things she passionate about she can tend to get a little out of hand sometimes. "Well Giselle look!" Michelle raised her voice. I could tell Bey was shocked. Michelle was usually the peace keeper, the put a spider out before she kills it type. "You fucked up. YOU fucked up." She lowered her tone.
"Take it from a friend. If you love her and respect her you would give her the time and space she needs. In the mean time you would unpack the behavior that got you here in the first place. This isn't a mistake that you made over night. So it's not going to be fixed that way either. Make it up to her, and making it up to her isn't blowing her phone off the hook honey. Let her make the decision to come home, and pray it's for good."
That was probably the most sound advice she could have gotten. That was Michelle's shtick though. She gives great talks no matter the contents.
"I love you too girl." Michelle giggled a bit. "Okay girl bye." She hung up smiling a bit. I looked almost confused and a bit irritated. Michelle's face went flush when she looked at me. "What?" I snatched my phone from her. "What do you mean what?" I told you I didn't want to talk to her." I plopped down on the couch. "You didn't talk to her. I did." She shrugged her shoulders going into the kitchen.
"Okay but I don't need you talking to her either." I rested my head back looking to the ceiling. "*SCUUUUURT* pump the breaks baby. I never said I wasn't talking to her. That was not the agreement when I said you could stay here." She took out a bottle of wine from the fridge checking the label. "That's fine but I don't need you talking to her for me though. Or- or working out our relationship problems Dr.Phill." Crossing my arms I dung my nails into my skin. "Oh it's a relationship still? People make mistakes. Not saying all of them are forgivable, that's up to you. Need I remind you though, you've made your fair share of them as well?" She took a glass from the cabinet checking for water spots. I glared at her from across the room. "You know what I ment."
